So this is the ultimate design I'm going with to use all my space. I'm painting the walls on Kilz2 and going to use ROCK nutes. I'm ordering seeds in America once I get everything else here. I'm looking for input into my fan-circulation/filter setup as well as rather id be able to squeeze four 5-gal buckets in there and possible UtiiLize SCROG in there to maximize yield. I have a link to more details in my signature and any and all input is welcome. The carbon filter and fan was ordered this weekend. Going to get temps, humidity and all that perfect before introducing crops.
budget is 15 plants in one square yard or meter in 3 us gallon pots under one 400w hps (600w hps is better) for one month veg and 2 months flower, to a height of 3 feet or 1 meter ...that is the standard grow, for you to adjust accordingly
the record is fifteen plants in 1-gal pots? I just put a couple of my work buckets, a 5-gal paint bucket, and one of my old crusty 5-gal DWC in there just to see if everything will fit and I think i'll be good. If i just LST everything to the sides and out I can make all four plants nice and bushy up to about 2-3' tall and lots of nice top nodes...i'm getting the 600w light (went up from the 400 based on another blades suggestiobn, i can always dim it during veg while i'm using the MH and crank it up during mid-late flowering to pump up my canopy when its covered in top colas) anyway for when i do to move to a bigger space... my AH 6'' inline fan came today with a gigantic carbon filter...i knew it was going to be big, but holy cow, thats the last carbon filter I should need for awhile. I should be good on airflow I think lol.
Got the 6" Apollo Horticulture Inline fan mounted in the attic and mounted (those holes were patched soon after this) directly under that inside the room is the carbon filter Installed a passive air intake in the floor with a screen over it (Considering mounting an AC filter under it or cramming some AC filter in the hole;HEPA filter would be ideal or any ideas for a DIY solution???) And ran a dedicated 110 power line with a fuse box Light will be here tomorrow (600w Apollo horticulture MH/HPS dimmable with AC cooled ballast) Just picked up the Hydrocarm starter tray with 72 plugs and I have some tap water sitting out now in the closet plan to start a couple random bag seeds tomorrow. I have one old bucket that used to be a top drop system and I'm gonna run a test grow if I get any viable females while I gather the rest of my buckets and plumb them. Just drawing the schematics for that now.
