Small Cloner

  1. I have only ever seen giant 24 to over 100 site cloners for sale and they usually start around $100. I recently found this and I think I am going to give it a shot. Ive seen people root clones in solo cups of water so even though it doesnt have the fancy "sprayer" I feel like it should work. I wont ever need to make more than 12 clones and as soon as they root, they will be going into soil so it should be just right for me. What do you guys think? I know its a cheap simple setup and I could make one myself but at 24 dollars, why bother? Right now i legit just want to make one, maybe two clones.

  2. It's cheap enough and while it isn't exactly a cloner, due to its small size (10.5"X16"X5.7") it would probably work better as a cloner than as a hydroponic grow kit for cannabis. One small potential problem is that once the roots grow out of the net pots you may have to bury the net pot along with the roots when you put them in soil.

What do you suppose they meant by saying it "grows up to 11 once."? And the "Wide Application" uses listed are rather odd. Me thinks English wasn't the author's primary language.

  6. Ill be pulling them from the cloner before they get to tangled in the net pots. I might not even use the net pots or cut the bottoms out of them; just enough to hold the foam things if thats what i need to do.

Up to 11 ounce; who knows. Point is, it is really affordable for someone who is only looking to make a few clones.

  9. Looks like you even took those clones pretty well into flower? This is exactly what i was hoping to see, once i get roots that size, in the soil they will go. Do you submerge the stem in the water at all and if so, how much?

  10. I did take em' well into flowering. These were new plants from beans so I didn't know what ones if any I wanted to run again so I waited and took the best, fastest and biggest bud from a couple different plants.
I put the stems in the water a couple inches and in the neoprene cut outs, sometimes I'll have 5 or 6 clones per cut out if some buddies are needing clones.
Keep the PPM's 150--250 and PH to 6. In a couple weeks you got roots, maybe sooner.
Oh I use a heat mat under that cloner too.

  11. I got one of these for 50.00 off Amazon Pretty cheap.

  12. Looks like they are over 70$ now and i will never do more than 12 clones at once.

    Delete, already up

  14. Also nothing wrong with putting clone in soil, with some rooting powder on it, that's how I cloned year's ago. And sprayed clones couple times a day a feed them until they rooted.

  15. Yeah i just see better success rates with bubble cloners.

  16. Damn imports
