Hi all I have been growing with 150w CFL in a cupboard. Currently winter where i live and the temp has been between 40-50 Fahrenheit, so its cold. My grow is about 10 days into veg and the sprout has grown very slowly compared to past grows - I have now put a heater in and the growth rate seems to be alot better -second node has just started to develop, soil is warm and temp is around 70-80 Fahrenheit now. My question is: Would the beginning slow growth rate affect my end yield? I would say the plant is about 4-5 days behind where it should be because of the cold. Many thanks! Noords
Is it an autoflower? Then yes it will be affected if not then no... When growing photos the end result is dependent on the size of the plant when you flip the lights to 12/12. You will have to veg longer to get the same amount as if you hadn't had cold temps though if that makes sense.
