slashing a herm, what to do?

  1. So I'm disposing a hermie that's 3-4weeks into flower which has visible trichomes but I'm not sure if there buds under all those balls or what,

But anyway can i get some hash out the scraps or something? I'd rather it be something simple and fast vs making bho because I don't have much extra cash.

    Any suggestions valued

  2. snip, grab a bag and a couple of jars and a pair of scissors. get to snippen and bag the seeds. plant within 24 hours for faster germination. and dry the bud out smoke at your own pace.

  3. maybe im reading this wrong, you are saying to plant the seeds that came from it? I wouldn't in my opinion plant seeds that are from a herm, they can sometimes have the trait as well. I also have seeds that are from last outdoor season that germ as fast as the seeds i just ordered. not trying to come of as an ass on this, sorry if it sounds like that lol. and as for the bud or balls, if there is trichs on it, you could make oil, hash or plain old smoke, i mean quality wont be as great, but hey, i wouldn't just throw it away haha

  4. Yeah i was talking about the scraps of the plant, not the seeds sorry if I confused people reading this.

But my objective was to get some sort of high off the plant, like making hash or something,

I was asking how'd I go about getting any hash/high from the hermie once I rip it out from the pot.

But on a separate note, don't hermies produce feminized seeds? I got all my seeds from an old dealer who's bud was loaded with seeds, like 30-40 an oz ,and it was good bud, but only the seeds from that batch of bud have come out female. While random seeds I've found are all herms! Lol

  5. smoke the herm dude. as for the trait of seeding all plants seed. it a nature accurence to take something like that away seems awkward.

  6. Natural hermies produce more natural hermies, where it is genetic and it's the same principle behind selective breeding... traits from the parents, are passed on to the next generation and those traits can become stronger or more dominant. Many of the offspring appear female at first, but they are just as, if not more likely than the parent/s to turn hermy at some point during the grow.

Accidental or stress-induced hermies can produce more hermie offspring, but generally only if the same accident/stress is recreated, during the following grow. These can also have a higher female ratio than normal seeds.

The best females for feminized seed production will not turn hermy easily; they require a LOT of stress to produce male flowers.

A good breeder will discard females that turn over too easily, because (as mentioned before) that same ease, or the same willingness to turn hermie under only light stress, will be passed on to the offspring.

Personally, I'd dry it out and sift for hash, or dry, decarb/activate and then make some good oil for edibles. :)

"I'd dry it out and sift for hash "

How do I do this? Lol

But I've read that hermies are related in one way or another in production of feminized seeds, idk if hermi pollen on a female gets female seeds, or if its just the seeds straight from the herm, but I know their related
