I am a rookie grower and I just wanted some feedback and thoughts I got this cut from a shop owner in la he said its supposed to be skywalker OG. I've heard there is two cuts of skywalker OG and it was supposed to be really bushy? This is my first time ever growing Thank you for your help
This is an interesting plant =) What have you done to it since you have had it? like have you topped, or cut branches, etc? Anyway it looks cool, pretty skinny and lengthy, my opinion would be to let it do its thing and not mess with it really. The right side of the pic looks like it may need support once it flowers and if it gets heavy buds.. Look forward seeing the life cycle
Hey man thanks for replying I cut a few branches off, bent the branches, and topped it the bottom branch way on bottom I bent way on the bottom and again in the middle and created this like web of a weed lol These you can see where I bent. The branch on the last picture I just bent last night and is already trying to stand right up
Nice dude, well it seems like you are just experimenting which is never a bad thing. Thats a tall plant, I personally wouldnt of cut off any branches but its your plant and you should do whatever the hell you want haha Im curious to see how the plant will do at the end of bloom, You will probably get some nice nuts at the tops especially. If any hang over just try to support them, which I'm sure u already know. What size pot are you using anyway? -C

Yeah i don't think i would have cut quite so much off. Losing a lof of light collection, you don't need to trim unless there's potential flowers under the leaves your trimming off imo. Even the lower fan leaves collect a lot of light witch is turned into more plant. Looks like it's going to produce though, interesting plant. As far as if it's skywalker og i have no idea but i hear that's a nice strain to smoke.

I agree with PNW, definitely try to clone here while she is still in veg, before it starts showing signs of sex. But I would say clone after a week of not touching her or bending, just so its not too much you know. Hermies are hermaphrodites. they occur when a plant is shocked into producing both male and female sex on the same plant. Yes keep doing what you are doing, do not cut anything else excepts some clones. it looks like you have a 15 gallon pot, if you go larger, she should grow quite a bit more in veg (i think it will be grow pretty tall, not sure just try it if you can. Transfer her when she has developed enough roots to pull her out of the pot.
what is that that you dipped them into? The cutting look alright. I always use a sterile blade with alcohol to take the clipping, then I do a 45 degree cut before dipping it into rooting hormone for about 30 seconds. then I place the clone into rockrool and allow it to veg in humidity dome. thats my way, not sure how you are doing it but if it works, it works.
I saw this dude on YouTube make clones with just tap water and the air pump for oxygen So what I did is use a real light tea which im feeding my plants and the air pump it's been a few days just wasn't sure if i cut too early for clones He had some crazy roots and honestly I'm on a budget lol I have an interview In a few hours hopefully then I'll step up my game Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app
