I’m growing a couple of strains outdoors. Acapulco Gold and Cafe Racer. All in 10 galling fabric pots. In early veg these plants stunk the place out! They’re now in pre-flower and the skunk smell is pretty much gone. I gave some of the same plants to a buddy. His are in pre-flower as well but he says the skunk odor is crazy! He grows in his own mix of soil in pots. I used Kryptonite Soil and have been top dressing with Gaia Green. The plants are doing well just concerned the skunk odor has dropped off. I want fat, sticky stinky buds when they come in! Thoughts?
smell/terps are sugar based IMO, it was the change of nute that may have reduced the terp smell, I used 2 tablespoons of brown sugar dissolved in water, to repair this, some use molasses's but has been years since last used better google for more, it repairs the soil not the plant good luck
