  1. I used to skate about 5 years ago but got out of it, i'm im deciding to start back up, but having been out of the skate scene for awiel i was wonder what board companys are holding it down now days? Right not im leaning towards getting a girl or almost deck and was wonderign what any of the skaters round here recomend, I'm look for a deck with some good pop but alot of durability since im 185 pounds and don't have the money to be going through a ton fo decks. Btw i plan on skating street so i need a good board for flip tricks.

  2. flip decks with the kinda dent thingy on the bottom..grind ridge or something..yeah man i miss my old black hkd setup..oh wait..i have a new one o_O but yes, oh and flip abec 7 bearings completely own evrythin else once their broken in.
    happy skating :smoke:

  3. alien workshop/habitat have always been my fav.

i liked habitat alot. i dont skate anymore tho

  4. tom penny haunts me in my sleep.
FLiP for life (and sometimes Girl)

  5. tom penny o_O
arto saari !! sorry vid rocks >_<
    :smoking:

  6. It's all about the Swiss bearings, baby... I had a pair of speed skates with Swiss bearings once... Muthafuckers were FAST!

  7. oooh il bet they were. :D
i skated my friend's ceramics on my board one day..they were kool and yeah fast but man..my old setup (same as current one cept diff deck) could go faster than anybody i met :) alot of ppl just slid off straight away..which was handy for the "gimme a shot" assholes...jump..slap...bang. hehehehe.
but alas i had to fuck around with my fave setup on a bridge and well..lets just say shes sleepin with the fishies in the clyde river :smoke:RIP :)

  8. I skated baker, element, flip, popwar, almost, and real. baker being my fav. dont skate anymore tho but id have to say baker w/ krux lows, bones swiss, and 51mil rictas

  9. For me, favourite wheels would be Autobahn and decks would be Element. And Lucky Abec 7 bearings, World Grenade bearings or anything along those lines.
    My set up right now's:
    Element Gamma Bam Margera deck
    Blue Thunder Kennedy Trucks
Neon Pink Autobahn 58 mils (This is from memory, so the number might be wrong)
    World Industry Grenade bearings
    Shorty's nuts and bolts
    And that's it.
Element's my favourite skate brand in general.

  10. girl-bones reds-autobahn-ventures ftw.

  11. enjoi, habitat, aws skatin's fun shit man

  12. i was always able to do fliptricks with chcocalates pretty well.

    I like alien workshop too.

  13. Baker, Consoldiated
Zero decks were strong as hell too.

    Tensor trucks :p
my broken in speed demon bearings owned too.

  14. Here is what i plan on getting http://img226.imageshack.us/my.php?image=skateboardcx5.jpg

dose this look liek a good set up? btw i don't plan on usign the riser but why refuse them if their free lol,

edit:fuck i jsut seen the wheels ain't avalible till the 15th of next month, damn, ill probly settle for some other small spitfires that are 51mm

  15. -green grip...just go with black.

  16. I like elements but they are a little brittle. Light as hell though.

If you want a really sturdy deck get an ATM. I dont know if you will be able to find one around you but they are pretty much a blank board with just a little ATM logo. They get so much pop after being broken in. Extremely durable too. Best part is they are like 30 bucks. Money in the bank.

  17. i'm personally anti grind kings, they split in half on me when i did a 5-0 one day.

    You've been warned. :p

  18. ive never heard anything special of grind kings... i like krux myself (trucks wise)

and that deck your getting is... $110 or something? wtf... a normal deck is $45-$65

  19. It jsut shows that cause it set up as pickign out a custom compleat and thatys the base price which why the whoel set up comes out to $130

  20. Flips and Elements are mad heavy and I hate the concave. I ride Baker, Girl, Chocolate, Zoo York, and Almosts. Blanks, however, are good on the wallet and do the job damn well.
