size of pots?

    when my plants go outside they need to be in containers because the soil sucks. How big should the containers be? would 5 gal buckets work?

    5 gal would work, but why not dig a hole and put your own soil in?

    Depends on how much u want..U can get a 1/4 pd in a 5gal bucket veg till there 3ft then flower

    A long time in-ground grower who's back could no longer handle digging the 3'x3'x3' holes in clay soil, I'm using 25 gallon Smart Pots outside for the first time. They're available in all sizes and far superior to traditional containers.

    He's growing outdoors. How do you turn off the sun?
