Size of container/yield

    I'm trying to be as practical as possible here and I have hundreds of dollars to spend, the only thing that could confine my build is the fact I want to make it subtle as possible. I have 2 Rubbermaid boxes stacked on each other and they are currently standing at 4 feet tall, the width of the boxes is great, but I'm concerned the height will severely limit my yield. Just wondering what you guys think I could get out of it?

    You could probably get an ounce or two if you really took care of your plants. Using a scrog technique would probably help.

    I've seen people pull over an ounce from a party cup in soil. So it's up to you.

    Yeah thats not enough for me lol if I was looking for about 3-4 ounces per plant what kind of space would I need? I'm using hydroponics btw too I obviously should have mentioned that earlier.

    let me put it this way.. i just had 2 plants ripped like 2 weeks ago from my outdoor garden. they were about 4.5' and about 3.5' around.. and they had about 4 oz each on em.. definatly not happening in a rubbermaid.. sorry bro.. you would be better off with a box full of auto's

    I'm stacking the rubbermaids on top of eachother and cutting out the bottom... thanks though you subconsciously answer my question

    This is also important. 2 good sized ones or maybe 4 smaller but still decent sized ones

    Well before I make my final decision I'd like to look at others see what they did, but probably 2 plants

    I havent used rubbermaids before but i have had friends that have in there rooms before. I also have done many closet grows in smaller spaces when i was starting out... i can tell you if your gonna do 4 excpecially from seed your prob better of only using autos however im inclined to agree with you that you should go for 2 and since your going for yeild id suggest soil just imo... see in this smaller space to make it as productive as possible if you did two soil containers that are shorter but take up the vast marjority of the floor space would be ideal... plants tend to grow like there containers this would allow as much growing height as possible while maxing soil space per plant which means bigger yeild one or two bags of ffof would do... and then you could setup a nice little scrog and i bet after one or two harvest you would perfect it to getting minimum a qp if you have any questions on this method ive help buddies set theirs up myself and they love small personal out of the way and pumps as much as they can smoke...

    Do you think so Doc I might do soil if it really seems that much more practical? I have 3 Rubbermaids stacked on each other and wanted another separate isolated bucket(my resivour) with a pump to run the nutrients through. Then I was going to have water at the bottom of the last rubbermaid and suspend the actual area where the plant will be at the most probably height so the roots have plenty of room.. maybe a foot up at max. I'm curious as to what you guys of it.

    Ok guys since it is only my second grow I guess I will have to avert back to soil just because of the simplicity. I already bought a pump with tubing so I guess the next grow will be hydroponics. I want the plant budding in mid december so due to time I'm left with soil. Thanks for changing my mind dr kief. In that case I'll just make a grow journal when its up

    well you said it yourself if its more PRACTICAL you might consider it... dont get me wrong hydro could deff be done here but so much in a tight setup like that could go wrong and then your Fuhauuuked... and also your looking for yeild right? well consider an all organic soil grow... Ive grow hydro areo and every type of soil grow I every read or heard about from fellow local growers... at the end of the day and again just imo organic soil grown gives you the best smoke with yeilds that are comparable to any petro based fert grow... :smoke: and the smoke quality is true to your strain by that i mean your growing healthy all natural plants that dont have any harmful or taste altering chems in em... I would suggest this for your three high rubbermaid treasurechest lol thats what i call em... get pots or build your own if you cant find any as good... that are as wide as possible for your space you want to use almost all of that floor space. that way youll only need them to be 8-12 inches high... i say 12 but hey its your grow bro... that way you have max height for your two ladies to grow with max soil for their roots and like i said earlier the plants will grow with the shape of the container wich in this case is what you want... they each have about 4 galleons of soil each thats what id aim for... as low as possible while giving each plant 4 Gs of soil... then id set up a scrog after they get big enuf... simple easy to maintain bigger harvest and the quality imo will be much better and healthier thats for damn sure!:smoke:

    Do you know of any good sites to personally order from I'm no to comfortable with the ones I've seen. I'm probably gonna go for a potent strain like widow... I'm taking droid pictures right now hold awn
