So around 3 this afternoon I went to the gym as usual with my buddy C and my bro. So we get there and it's pretty busy.. a lot of people working out. Oh well, no biggie.. We start to workout and see a few friends there one who we'll call R. R is pretty big and is always there haha. So we hear a lot of people saying that one older guy there was a porn star. Turns out he actually is and is really well known, is pretty damn rich. He's from where I live but lives in California. I guess he was home for the holidays. So we were talking to him a bit, just about working out haha. After we workout for about an hour and a half we get to the changing rooms. I start to change and pull my sweater over my head, to look down and see a stack of 100 dollar american bills. I'm in shock, just in awe and my bro and friend were like omg. I grab the stack and R comes walking in seeing what I'm holding and is like WTF, where did you get that!? Grabs it from me and starts counting it. I snag it back and tell him fuck off man, I gotta bring this to front desk. I would say there was about 2-3grand in the stack, if not more. It was a shit ton of money, i just found on the floor lol. C and my bro are saying take a few bills and return it, R is saying take it all man, get out of here, go. I'm standing there confused, but I know what's right and I know what I gotta do. I bring the money to the front desk and tell them I just found it. They were pretty amazed too and figured it was the porn star from California. It was american money afterall. So I'm back now chillin writing this and still in shock. I could have taken that and been rich! but nah, I feel I did what was right. hopefully the money gets back to its rightful owner

you couldn't have grabbed a couple hundred bucks off the top...a finders fee...thats what i wouldve done, paid off some court fines, buy a new piece and an ounce of dankity dank
GREAT deed man. I had this happen to me about 4 months ago. I took my girl and her kids to wild waves (a local water/theme park) here in Tacoma WA. Well taking my girl and kids to a theme park ISNT cheap. So I stop by the ATM and grab $500 just for spending on the day. We get there and I pay to get us all in and it costs like $100 after tax and everything (fuckin ridiculous). So when we get in I go to rent us a locker to put our shit in. We get to the locker and I go to throw my wallet in and I realize I LOST my fuckin wallet and $400 somewhere in between here and the front desk. So I run back to the desk and ask the cashier lady if I left my wallet there. She tells me no, and then goes on to say that if I lost it chances are I wont be finding it. So I'm PISSED. I JUST got there, PAID 100 bucks to get in, and now I have 0 money to spend on the day. Well as I am walking away I see 2 police officers talking to another worker for the park and one of them see's me walkin by and calls me by my last name. I'm like wtf, how does this cop know me. LOL I was actually paranoid cause I had a pipe and bud in the locker I rented for the day. So I turn to him and ask him how he knows me, and he pulls my wallet out and says "It took u long enough to come back for it" I couldnt fucking believe it. Someone had found my wallet and gave it to him. He was gonna turn it into the lost and found at the park. I checked my wallet and ALL my money was there. The person that found it didn't even take a finders fee! I would have totally given the person $100 bucks hust for returning it, but the cop said the guy just gave it to him and said he found it sitting on a bench. The cop even saw how much $$ I had and said he couldnt believe the guy didn't take any. It is nice to know there are still some decent people left in the world.

That money would find its way to my wallet in a matter of seconds. Sure it would suck to find yourself in the position of being out 2 Grand, but seriously... whoever cant keep track of that much money doesn't deserve to have it. You should have been thinking about how much free weed that would have translated into, oh well.
I remember an episode of old TV show, I think it was Alfred Hitchcock Presents, where a guy finds a wallet in Vegas with a few hundred bucks in it, and some ID cards, etc. He calls the owner up and goes up to his hotel to return it. There's a few guys there in addition to the wallet's owner. The wallet owner acts grateful, gives him some drinks and food, talks to him for a while. Then the owner of the wallet hands the guy the phone, and it's his wife on the line. She very upset and says thre's a man there with her, and then the phone goes dead. The wallet owner says to him, "Thanks for returning my wallet. Now wheres the rest of the twenty five thousand dollars that was in my wallet?"
