  1. Ok, chumpies are up, out, and about. Two strawberry cough, and two nevilles skunk. Excited for the possibilities.

Clones are already getting big too.

Gotta start training them cause they're too big already. Hadn't up to now because they were very stressed and I wanted them to strengthen before stressing again.

Got some lights off pics. You can see in these pics that I was running pretty hot nutrient solution and they got a little burned. Growing pains as I move over to using Jack's 321. I'll get it all dialed in by next run I think. The girls have been drinking a lot, and I've noticed it more since I've been using less water in the reservoir. Sorta cool and informative to see. I'm still not getting enough strength in some of the stems, so I'm thinking of adding a little silica to see if it's a big enough difference to justify the money.
Also, it Looks like the nugs I pollinated are bulking up. Hope I get some surprises.

It's interesting, I find myself falling into a modified Lucas formula when running the Jack's 3 2 1 nutrients. Probably because it's dealing with an EC number and hitting targets, which gives you control, but it's also nice because in a city like mine where water cost money you can go for a few weeks before changing your reservoir by just adding water and nutes if needed. Its convenient, works well, and allows for less work. As usual, things proven to work over the years by multiple growers in many different gardens will still perform consistently. Think I might keep changing my res every month and just keep pulling out and adding in to keep them happy. So far things smell great, so if that's any indication, this herb is going to smell great with a good cure.
    Here's today's pics. 20181203_192055.jpg 20181203_192035.jpg 20181203_192028.jpg 20181203_192027.jpg 20181203_192013.jpg 20181203_192004.jpg 20181203_191958.jpg

  4. I'm on the fence, not sure if I should chop a bit early before the holidays, or let them go till new years. Been planning to let them go, because they aren't ready, but worried my clones will get too big and be too high maintenance for my friend to look after while I'm gone... Ugh. What to do, chop at 9.5 weeks or go 12 and risk issues with the next batch. First world problems.

  5. Sooo, I've decided I'm going to have to cut a lil bit earlier in order to get the new clones into the room. Wanted to hold off, but my travel plans have decided for me. I'm gonna switch out the res with water in a few days and let them go till around the 15th so I can dry and get in jars before leaving.

  6. I'm flushing the girls tonight, and plan on chopping Thursday night so I can get them in jars and curing before the holidays.

Probably end up about 12 oz, considering the plant numbers not bad, but could have been better. Most likely lost a little weight by not finishing the lemon, but had to make way for new girls. After the next run, I'm gonna start doing heavier training in the early stages, so that I can veg longer, and increase yeild while keeping the headroom in check in my veg box.

Well, I'm not going to be able to get the clones into cubes till tomorrow, but there doing fine. Just been too busy.

Ive officially flipped them to flower. Filled the res, added nutes, some Garden friendly fungicide, and more fulvic acid. Tested out the wide angle lens I got for xmas, and it's a cool little toy.

What a maroon. I was so rushed jarring the herb before I went away, I forgot to pull the seeds. Pulled out some lemon banana sherbet and found these bad boys. 20190104_210009.jpg
They are all a cross with the same male, but it could have been pina rita, galactic jack, or strawberry cough, or even a hybrid cross with lifesaver. Either way it's a win, just a shame I was in such a rush to harvest it. In the near future, I have plans to construct a breeding box. Just big enough for two plants. I believe it will give me the control I need. Pretty sure I've got all the things I need to put it together now, and get a light when I can afford it. Probably a hlg qb led light, seems that people like what they're doing in smaller spaces.

Fuck, forgot to put in the humidifier and the cuts all died. Gonna take new ones tonight and pray they don't shit the bed again. This head cold really fucked my garden, I simply had no energy to do anything. Nothing I cant fix I hope, but disappointing none the less. On a positive note, i keep finding more seeds in the lemon. Bunch more in the latest nug I ground up. Hooray seeds! 20190107_160009.jpg

So, I was wrong about the cuts, only a few died, the others bounced back with lots of humidity . Still took some more to make sure I keep around everything.
    20190111_175119.jpg

Pretty sure I've got two females out of the new seeds. pulled two males, one strawberry cough and one skunk. Gonna wait till the second skunk is definitive and then dump the puna, and one of the cactus.im keeping two lemon banana because they are both big strong plants. The puna is smaller, so I may just lose it because I still have plenty of seeds of it.
    20190111_185810.jpg
This will leave me with two lemon, one dog trap, one cactus, one strawberry cough, and one skunk #1. Gonna be an excellent run based on their root growth. Bet we get well over a pound this run if everything goes to plan.

Ugh, every time I go thinking that I can guess a plants sex based on plant structure, i wait a few days and see balls... my skunk has popped a few balls out.
Oh well. It looks like my plans have once again changed.

Im gonna keep clones around to breed

  17. Okay, so its been a while since I've updated, but things are going well. 20190121_193132.jpg Still waiting to get the skunk sexed. I stunted it, so it had to recover first. Hope it hurries up. 20190121_193155.jpg
Let's see what comes from this, I think its been a good run so far, but its definitely overgrowing... so far in a good way.

Also, I've got a stress free clone diy that works brilliantly. I took the hose from my wet vac and taped it to my humidifier and the dome. Keeps everything wet and perfectly healthy.

  20. Pulled the last skunk cause she wasn't doing much. Have clones though so I'll find out next run what's up with it.

That makes it two lemon, two cactus, a dogtrap and a strawberry cough for this run. Things are doing a lotta stretching, hope I don't overgrow the room and lose weight.
