  1. The babies are looking good and the Clones looking good as well definitely should have started these seeds few weeks earlier though they're definitely going to be lagging behind. This cabinet seems to run a little more humid as well, so I'm thinking of using a little weaker nute concentration while they reside in the veg cabinet.

Taking a break from trimming hell. Here's a few pics so far.
    First the pile o plants.
    20180920_192842.jpg
    The cactus
    20180920_194637.jpg
    The dog trap
    20180920_200454.jpg
    The lemon banana
    20180920_205159.jpg

On the rack is the puna kea but theres so much of it that it feels like it goes on forever.
    20180920_204353.jpg

The clemantine and blue skittles didn't give much and they're super leafy. I'm almost positive its cause I stunted them when I severely topped them in veg. It was the end of the line for these genetics anyway. There's better things to run. I'll post more pics tomorrow after finishing.

And the end Mark's the beginning...

    And clemantine 20180921_182254.jpg

Tomorrow I'll clean the room and empty the res. Get things ready for the next round. Now I'm gonna sit my sticky ass down and watch some tv.

  4. Nice haul buddy. Congrats on the successful harvest.

Here's the haul, minus what I've been smoking the last week. Didn't hit my goal because my clones were severely stunted from an extreme topping I did during veg because I didn't have the headroom in the small cabinet. Live and learn. Still a nice haul. Let the curing begin! 20180926_160140.jpg

  7. Pretty nice. Whats the total weigh? I guess close to 25 ounce.

  8. Nah, while it looks big, the jars only hold like two ounces when filled. I'm guestimating around 15+ ounces.
Honestly when I saw I hadn't broken a lb, I stopped counting. Thats what my goal was this run. Got purdy close though.
Approx weights heaviest to lightest from memory were...
Puna kea #2- about 6 oz
    Cactus about 3.5 oz
    Dog trap about 3 oz
Lemon banana sherbet about 1.5 oz
    Clemantine about 1 oz
    Blue zkittles about 1 oz

Probably lost a bit more to drying. The puna needed more time on the vine, maybe 2+ weeks to properly plump up, but it's nice sticky smoke either way. Taken early like this, the high is only gonna last like an hour, compared to a more ripened flower which can get me going for two to three.

Rooms been cleaned, and girls are in. It was a bitch doing a deep clean, but it had to happen. A clean room is a happy room. Got some fungus gnats, so hope to knock them down between the floraflex, and some yellow cards. I'll get real if that doesn't do it, but I think they'll be fine.
Still hoping the size difference doesn't create issues in the future of these plants. Really wanted to keep them small so I can have two more in there since the goal is seeds. Not sure if that'll work out though depending on how many guys I get. We'll see, hope there aren't any in the new bunch. Wishful thinking perhaps.

So far we have clones of cactus, dog trap, lemon banana sherbet, and puna kea #2. From seed we have strawberry cough, lifesaver, pina rita and galactic jack. I would be ecstatic if I get all females. Cry if I get none...

I'm planning on seeding this run with pollen from the galactic jack and pina rita males. Also planning to make some feminized seeds, and some crosses of the cactus for the future. I love that plant and hope to keep it around for a long time. It's a lot to try to accomplish in one run, so might hold off on cactus, take some clones, then make seeds from them. Still haven't put together my male box because I have no money for another light at the moment. I'm planning to rectify this in the near future. If not, I might have to wait even longer for the seed run. Actually... maybe I can use my veg. cabinet to flower them for now...hmmm.

  10. Things are well again. Had a small hiccup switching over to the new nutes. My ppm meter was left over from when I used to run Lucas like 8 years ago, so the readings were for shit. Ended up getting a truncheon, so things should be smooth on the res change tonight. 20181004_211037.jpg

I had a fungus gnat breakout because my environment controller is janky. It allows the humidity to jump to 75% in the night cycle and the exhaust doesn't come on. I'm going to have to start switching over to my solo humidity controller at night cycle, and switch back over when lights are on so I can run the co2.
I cant run the co2 until I get rid of the fungus gnats though. Ive heard that they like co2 environments. I guess they got infected in the veg box, and the bugs went crazy when they transferred into the flower closet. I've bazooka"d them with nematodes. Seems the little critters are munching down, and the plants are responding.

So far, out of the new plants, all indications say that the galactic jack, and lifesaver are females. Waiting on the pina rita, and strawberry cough to see. :weed: 20181011_220423.jpg

Ok, update time... I took clones of everything, and made a few extra cactus clones for a friend. Hope I have good luck with this batch. 20181013_193919.jpg the fungus gnats are still around, the infestation was larger than I had thought, so I'll give the nematodes another day or two before breaking out the BT and kill bugs dead.:cop:

Aside from that, things are doing well. I'm pretty sure I made a wrong call on the galactic jack. Think I got another male. Oh well, such is life. I really wanted a strain like this for day smoke or to cut through the stone of the indicas. The lemon banana is perfect for that, it leans heavily on the lemon skunk genes, but the last run of it sucked. The plant suffered tremendously in veg and it never really came back from that. The lemon banana plant I have going now already seems stronger than the one I cut it from. Hopefully this vigor will keep up through flowering and the results will be the same as the first time., and go back to being a house favorite.
    20181013_193951.jpg
I Really want the strawberry cough to be a female. It's a strain that's been on my radar for a long time because I like the smoke so much. I rarely see it in dispensaries any more. I've only had it twice where it was grown right, and I loved it.
Also thinking about running nevilles skunk #1, and hindu kush next run depending on what this run produces, and what genetics stay around.

Since I'm going to do seeds in the lower larf the harvest might suffer, but itll be worth it to have some crosses. I'm most excited about the lemon banana crossed with galactic jack, as well as the pina rita crossed with cactus. Chucking pollen is fun, hope I can make it happen. I'd really like to keep from open pollination like I've done in the past.

  14. Stretching every day. Almost to the net.
    20181015_182945.jpg 20181015_182942.jpg
Pretty sure the pina rita is a male. Second set of males out of two rounds of seeds. Not a waste, but just dumb luck, wonder if I'll get any females out of those packs. Crossing my fingers for the strawberry cough and lifesaver. Hope they get as hairy as a 70 porn star.

  15. Wait for it, wait for it... sigh.
All four new plants were male.:mad:
Well, I guess I'm only running four plants this run.
What the hell man, I killed a cactus and a dog trap plant too early because I was dealing with the males. Working this way is lame because I cant grow out packs of seeds and pheno hunt. I'm doing the best I can with what I'm legally allowed to keep around here, but its sure putting a dampener on my plans. None the less, update, here's the clones. Everything seems to have taken that I want to keep, so that's cool.
    20181020_200552.jpg
Here's the flower room, I've still got the other males in there till they get a little closer, then I'll either put them in the male box, or put them back in veg cabinet.

  16. Getting there stretch on. Little worried about the punakea because it's never really recovered from the nute switch, and fungus gnats. Its branches are wispy and thin, and its much smaller than its mom. I have healthy clones, so I'll still be able to keep it around. Here's to hoping it blows up and surprises me. 20181022_183819.jpg 20181022_183824.jpg cleaned up the under carriage a bit. Probably last defol I'll do.

  17. I've collected pollen from the pina rita and galactic jack. At the moment I am drying some pollen from the strawberry cough and the lifesaver.
So that will be 4 males and four females, so if I cross everything, Id get 16 crosses. I'm thinking I might do just that too, but we'll see how well I can manage to label and pollinate these girls. I want to let them gain some weight before though, so im gonna wait till week 4 to get them preggo.

Ok gromies, here's an update . Things are going well so far. I was out of town for 5 days and didn't come home to sadness. They drank a lot of water though, so got a little burned when my ppm raised a bit. Things are looking good though. Changed the res with a lower ppm and extra recharge. Plants smell delish. I'm about to pollinate tomorrow, hope that works out.
    20181108_212755.jpg
    Clones are going well too.

New update, while having less plants sucks, the ones I have are filling the canopy quite well. Changed the res today.

Lemon banana is kicking ass and taking names.

Cactus must have gotten stunted because the buds are smaller, but theres so many bud sites I still think itll yeild a lot.
    20181116_180715.jpg
Dog trap in corner is balls to the wall as well.
