hey guys- I have one question- how far from my 400W HPS conversion MH should my seedlings be? thats all I need to know-- people are saying all different things- they are 2-1/2 feet away now cause I was told thats where they should be- before someone said farther than that and now I read a post that said a foot away- so confused- I want them to grow faster than they are and they are yellowing a bit- there are no nutes in there and they are at a normal PH and I have a water meter so I kno I'm not watering too much/little, they're just growing reeeeeallllyyyyy slooooow help?!
I just started my second grow last week, will try to start a log later. On my first grow I had the light (400W HPS) about 2 feet away. I didn't seem to have any problems from this. However I did read later that a 400w HPS should be about a foot away from the plants. That's where I have them this time around, about a foot away. I also heard that as long as you can hold the back of your hand underneath the lamp and it doesn't feel to hot, you're o.k good luck on the grow
