simple grow box to stop humidity

  1. Me and some friends just scored some really good seeds and started growing them outside given that it is summer here and we have some pretty good sonlight. the plants started growing fine but now they seem to have stopped, they´re not too big, about 4" tall, good stem and nice leaves. We think it´s the humidity that´s stopping them from growing any more, but we really don´t know, someone sugested a grow box or a small greenhouse to stop that, but we have no idea how to build a simple one that can also take some natural sunlight in. any advice?

Please help us!! we don´t want to screw up these seeds...

  2. Just make sure theres alot of fans and humidity wont be an issue.

  3. im pretty sure all plants need humidity and is usually to a degree beneficial..... the problem is probably nutrient deficiency.

  4. Marijuana does better in lower humidity, increases trichome count

  5. Sadly, fans in a humid room do nothing but blow humid air around the room, and even if they did lower humidity, they'd have to be unfeasibly large fans if he's to challenge mother nature in his outdoor grow.

Edu - Greenhouses and coldframes usually increase humidity, so your barking up the wrong tree there my friend. Looking at the general humidity for your area we're talking about a couple of hours of ~100% during the night, dropping to ~50% by midday and staying there through until late evening, when it starts to rise again.

I don't think that's your problem at all.

Since when have they stopped growing?

  6. they´ve stopped growing for about 2 weeks now, they´re just stuck in that stage, we were hoping for some nice branches to come through, but nothing´s happened yet.
