  1. its just not their cup of tea

  2. Guys if you don't feel that the game is worth your $60, then don't buy it. I don't get why there is so much bitching every year when a new COD comes out.

Because they are mad the games they love dont get updated

  4. Call of duty hasn't been updated in years.

It gets updates every year actually.

  6. Buy? It's 2012.:D

The only time I'm giving my money for a game is if it's actually worth it and tbh that's rare nowadays.

  7. Its been the same game with almost identical everything with new skins for 5 years actually.

New maps, campaign, some perk/killstreak/gun changes, new zombies/spec ops yeah seems identical

  9. The other thing i hate about mwf games is that u get killed so fucking easy! I guess thats how modern guns do to people now but tha old w@w the wepons seemed so unique and u couldnt use the same gun as u did the last one it had a genuine feel about it and "releasing the hounds was tha shit!! Im also fasinated by how soildiers in tha past had to survive and the maps they fought in, all these mw s look tha same! Where is tha cool maps and even zombies looks lame!

  10. 89 posts. Even if every post here agreed to not buy it, do you really think that would make a difference? The game sells millions and millions, every year. And it always will

  11. Don't really want black ops 2 . Id rather get gta5 , halo 4 , & watchdogs , but I want to see more trailers first .

seeing as the people who posted are not even the target audience I believe everyone knew this thread wouldn't economically change anything but what it does prove is that there are people aware of the laziness and repetitious of the creators and we won't stand for it man I wanna get high so bad

  13. You know, I think the "omg CoD is so repetitive" shit is just the latest net bandwagon. It has repetitive instances in each release... but holy fuck, what game doesn't?

I've played most of the CoDs a fair bit because I have friends who've always been into them. I was more of a Halo guy though during most of the series' lifetime.. but still I've played them.

MW2 is obviously very different than MW1. I don't even need to explain that. WaW also has super obvious differences so I don't need to explain. BO, events though I didn't like it, felt very different than previous games. You wouldn't see it in gameplay videos but when you play it you feel it. The guns fire and control differently than before. And MW3 added so much shit. New weapons that feel unique compared to any previous CoD weapons, the whole assault/support/specialist option, and more. You're strike package layout has a huge influence on how you should play and it's an entirely new feature. So the CoDs aren't as copy and pasted as some let on.

And what do people expect. Should the next title's multiplayer be puzzle based or should it be RTS? Would that be different enough? Why shouldn't it follow the trend every other game does with sequels? In Halo 3 you still jump 5 feet in the air and aim for the head like you did in 2, in Madden 12 you still play football like you did in every one before, in GoW3 you're still running from cover to cover blasting people like you did in 2, in Skyrim you're still traveling from point A to point B exploring and slashing shit while you level up and find new gear. Gameplay generally stays the same in sequel titles, just with new shit added in. CoD does that.

To bitch that it doesn't is just ignorant. Is each title innovative? No. Is every other game sequel in a popular game series innovative? No. If you don't like it because its not you're kinda game that's cool. But when you start complaining that its more repetitive than every other game series and bitching at people who plan on buying it about how they spend THEIR money.. you just come off as countless others do and you might as well be saying "I just hate it because it's insanely popular"

And like I said I have no interest in future CoDs, so don't call me biased. I would explain more but I have to go make threads about all the games I don't plan on ever buying just to say I'm not buying them

MW3 is the same game that CoD 1 was for the PC. One or two new features a game isnt innovative. They've been using that kill streak nonsense since CoD:UO for the PC. CoD USE to have Vehicles and destructable buildings for MP... Then they made the horrible mistake of removing them because they made the shift to console and never touched the idea again. It was their best idea and they got rid of it.

Halo is on the same page honestly. 5 shit games that just get more dull than the first 2.

I dont hate cod because its insanely popular. I was a fan since the beginning. But when you have 10 games that bairly had any insane upgrades or features add'd I think the customer has a right to complain.

  15. I dont like the whole "im the customer, i have a right to complain" thing. Most of the people who say that follow that sentence with "im not buying this shitty game". Well then motherfucker, your not a customer. Wait for the game to come out, buy it, play it, then you can complain about it if you so choose. To bitch about a game thats not even coming out for another 3 months is just wild

  16. Signed. The only good cod is cod4.

  17. Never played CoD on the PC then Huh?? Those were the days..

No I never had a computer until like 3 years ago.

  19. Same game? Did Cod 1 for PC have strike packages? because I wouldn't call that a "little feature". It's a pretty big change from the usual killstreak setup the game had in earlier editions. Did it have survival mode or Spec Ops... or ANY modes outside of MP and campaign, for that matter?

I don't mind the lack of vehicles personally. I've hated them in every other multiplay FPS so I'm sure it'd be no different now. And who cares about destructible buildings? I mean, I guess it's a neat feature, but I really don't care if it's in a game or not.

And calling Halo 3 a shit game is a bit of a stretch. And Reach wasn't a shit game either.

People bitch when you don't make drastic changes in the next title. But come to think of it, look at Halo Reach and the drastic changes it made that I forgot about in an earlier post. People bitched that they changed the system they had.

No change = "they copy and pasted it". Change = "They fucked it up! Why'd they change it!?"

  20. After seeing the multiplayer gameplay of it all I'm saying is SHUTUP AND TAKE MY MONEY!@@!

I will gladly pay $60 because this game looks sick as fuck. Also, I'm not a cod, dickriding fanboy. I love bf3 equally. but I've never been more excited for a game than black ops 2. November needs to hurry up.
