Why is it that when you let the branches lay sideways, the growth seems to be bigger? I know what the scrog is but this is just how a branch came up, no training about it.
I'm new to growing but I'm pretty sure it's because it's getting more light. I just lst my plants and I'm excited to see how it goes
I always bend the plan over and make the top the lowest part the highest point if the plan is always gonna become the main stem. There's a hormone that is strongest in the highest point I believe the reason I tie mine over sideways to the side of the bucket is so all the branches will become even in height. Then if you want you can untie the top and let it go back up it usually won't go very far up but you end up not losing the top cola and you get many many more colas. Having the branches sideways slows light to get where it never would otherwise and you get a lot more bud sites. It's a very good practice. Usually when they grow straight up only the top really gets the best light. This ones tied down sideways to let the lower branches become nice colas
And you will brother. No problem you will. My journals all have some good pics about the process I used with fimming and stuff you should check em out. It may help to see some pictures of the process
