  4. So im growing my little glookies plant in a upside down starbucks cup outside out house. It used to be flourishing it seemed until my dog ate the top off. But since then its sprouted new buds. But now im not sure whats happening. It looks like some of my leaves are turning dark and shrinking on the tips of the leaves and i dont have any knowledge of growing, what do i need to do. Btw i dont have any growing tools all i have is a corn field in front of me and this weed plant. I recently put it inside since i thought pests were the oroblem. I planted this at the beginning of may ive had to do a lot of repacking dirt too. Please help. 20200618_174015.jpg 20200618_173820_capture.jpg 20200618_174015.jpg

  5. Is this even worth topping? Comparison of same age plant. Ones a stick, ones what I'm used to seeing.

Or is this those genetics that grow one big cola down the stalk? IMG_20200620_071533.jpg IMG_20200620_071546.jpg

Didnt water for 2 days to let dry. Put a little water with nutes this morning. Growing in coco coir. Do you think they are like this cause of overwatering, lightburn, or need some cal-mag since its growing in coco. Any help is appreciated thanks. Bigger one is about 2 weeks old

  7. Probably overwatering bro. I have the same oroblem with mine. Are any of your leaves turning yellow? Using regular soil or coco? Mine dropp down and some leaves are turning yellow. Im growing in coco. Could be that needs some cal-mag but they only like 2 weeks old so idk

  9. @Daily stoner I'd let them dry out bigtime. Little planties in big pots moisture can hide in there

  10. Do the parts of a plant with light burn (the curled edges, not the brown/yellow) recover, or should they be removed? 1593034608548.jpg

  12. Thanks.

I'm slightly under feeding. Problem is that the strains I'm growing are so different. I can't go any higher in the tent, and if I decrease output I'll impact the 2 front plants. Only back right is suffering from it. 20200624_150228.jpg 20200624_150235.jpg 20200624_150305.jpg

  13. My 2-week-old Autos (Six Shooter fr FastBuds) seemed to be doing great at first until suddenly a couple days ago when I opened the tent to find some very sad plants (severely drooping, and some lower leaves yellowing). I thought overwatering, as they had been in a 70/30 coco-perlite mix that was for some reason not draining. I was admittedly ignoring the drainage problem since the plants seemed happy until suddenly they were not. After poking aeration holes in the medium didn't seem to help, I transplanted them into new containers with a new 60/40 coco-perlite mix. I added only minimal water for the transplant, and for about 12 hours the plants were slowly raising and returning to colour. Then once again, they suddenly began to droop and yellow.

Since then, I've added a small amount of water (about 1/4 cup) to each plant around its base, as the new coco-perlite mix seemed very dry and had already soaked up the small amount of water added during the transplant. And also the yellowing of the leaves had begun developing more rapidly. When I turned on the light today, the leaves began to raise again for about an hour 1/8"-1/4", but then again began to droop and yellow more.

    For equipment:
    • 800w LED on a 18/6 cycle
    • 2 Spot fans above and below the plants
    • 174CFM Vent fan w/ carbon filter
    • Humidifier
    • Inside a 4X4 tent.
At the time these pictures were taken, temp is 25 celsius and RH is at 65%. These conditions have been relatively consistent give-or-take 5 degrees temp and 10% humidity. I also have a C02 canister that I began using right before this problem began, but it's hard to see that being the problem.

Additional info: I recently lowered the grow light from 36" to 22". I also keep my vent fan turned on low to help keep the humidity up, so it's not using it's whole 174CFM. I found out that the water I had been feeding the plants was inconsistent, sometimes as high 7.1 pH, even after sitting for a week. So for the transplant and since, I've been using a pH down to correct to about 6.0 - 6.2pH. I've also been feeding the plants the Fox Farm Gringo Rasta trio, of which they are on week 2.

Sorry, not sure if this is too much info or not enough! I'm a first time grower and first time poster, but I've already benefited greatly from the other questions folks have asked on this site. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

  17. Much thanks for all the tips! 1 thing I forgot to mention in the post is the plants WERE in .5litre pots before the transplant. Only reason they’re in 1gallon now is I knew I’d have to transplant relatively soon anyway due to growth, and wanted to reduce stress from too many transplants (the plan is for the plants’ final homes to be 15l autopots).

I’ve been feeding only twice per week with pH’d tap water in between. (No cal/mag as the nutrients I’m using list both those). Do you think it’s a nutrient deficiency then?

Thanks again for the help dude!

  19. Sounds good! Just mixed my nutes and pH'd the water, ready to replenish these babies. One thing: What do you mean by exchanging the air and nutrients? Do you mean water once a day with nutrients, and a second watering with plain pH'd water?
