Sick old plants and slow newbies

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by freshoftheboat, May 2, 2011.

  1. I'm not really too sure what's going on I have a 600w hps I'm giving them 6.2 water with no neuts the heat is around 25c all the time and the big ones still seem to be dying.. Is it over/underwatering? Shall I prune the dead leaves?

As for the newbies they had a growth spurt and done nothing since!

Please please help! I'm running dry

  3. i have been watering every other day till i get run off.

the big ones are in soil the little in Coco.. im giving all of them 6.2ph. i thought the little ones should have shot up by now.. FML!

  4. Yeah man thats too much water. you got to let them dry out. pot plants dont need much water.

  5. ill cut back on watering, maybe i should start adding bio bizz again and prune the dead leaves?... so unsure on watering, mite start just every 3 days giving them a bit.. till i see run off?

  6. Ya prune the dead leaves. Every three days should be good maybe once a week. I was watering mine once a day then two of them died so i switched to once a week. They look alot better. But I also moved them so it could be because their getting more sunlight. Yours look like their getting enough light so it must be the water.

  7. pruned them all now.. they look slimer :( oh well.. give it a few days going to only water them a max of 2 times per week now

  8. The big ones, they look hungry. Feed them. Might not prune leaves, the plant likes to reuse what's in them until they fall off themselves, it's like the plants food cupboard.

  9. I like the title of this thread lol ;).

  12. Over watered for sure! I did the same. But I pruned 1 plant and left the other.. The pruned did much better and the other took awhile to get better and didn't yield as much!
