Is it the nature of forums, and it happens in pretty much all of them. People are either too lazy or too ignorant to use the search function and just post new threads. Many are also oblivious to the idea that questions and post should be placed in the correct sub-forum.
The absolute worst is that most don't ever report to us wether they pass or fail. Never to be seen again. Taking up space in the ol GC database. The best is when someone replies to a 4yr old drug test tread "did you pass".
I used that "ask your drug test questions here" thread for awhile and it was very valuable. I had to be completely clean for diversion where as most tests go down to 50 NG/ml. I could not seem to pee clean. The nice people in that thread told me what I had to do to get myself down to zero. Thank God that 6 months is over with!
They are very repetitive, I agree, and a lot of the posters don’t really stick around. However, it’s not the same person (obviously) and in their defense, they are probably freaking out a little so I don’t mind tossing some advice their way. I do think we are going about it the wrong way tho. I think it would be more useful and less annoying for everybody, if , instead of all the “How long will it take me to get clean?” approach, we had a thread (maybe stickies) titled something like THIS IS HOW LONG IT TOOK ME TO GET CLEAN. Instead of pages and pages of questions, we could have a thread of ANSWERS. You’d post your info, how long it took and what you did. Then people could find someone similar to them (in height, weight , activity level etc.) and get the answers they want instead of clogging up the forum with repetitive questions. The issue is that being clean and passing a drug test is not the same. A lot of “passed” tests are due to some level of dilution and not actually being below the cutoff. Buts that discussion is for the ANSWER thread.
Hey Daisy. Are you still in that diversion program and are you still being tested? Several years ago we had a drug test thread going and it had about a million (not exaggerated) views and hundreds of pages. One day the thread just disappeared. I tried to find out where it went but no one seemed to know. ICGreen tried to cut down on the number of test threads but nothing works.
I got finished with diversion at the end of June, Thank God. I am back to smoking a lot. I thought that ask your drug test questions here was still good in the seasoned toker's forum. RJML would have to make a sticky to put in other forums saying not to post drug test questions in this forum and link it to that thread. I saw it in the seasoned tokers just now. It's a sticky..
