  1. Cross faded and completely confused, Shutter Island is TRIPPY.
Is he a patient? Is this a test? Is his partner involved? Can this happen to anyone? Is this place real? Am I high or drunk?
    SO. CONFUSED.

    HALP.

  2. Don't worry! I play a doctor on TV!

OH MY DEAR GOD!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!?!

  3. WHAT???? omg so confused, even more! Now i have to worry about shutter island, and this.

  4. Ah for fuck sake, I forgot my shades there...Great, now I risk turning mortal, way to go OZA, way to fuckin' go.

Oh, anyway, don't worry...Somethin', somethin', somethin'...It will be fine, I think, well, let's hope, right?

  5. I just....i...what?
    are you high?

    lmfao, duh.
love convos like that, where both subjects are irrelevant to eachother but it continues...

  6. hes a patient who ends up realizing that hes crazy so he lets them erase his mind. live like a coward or die like a man bruh

  7. I'm pretty much always high.

  8. WAIT....so he was a patient all along?????!
So how did he take a boat there??
is the partner a patient too then?
    he's tripping?
    All of it?
so he THINKS hes a detective??

what kinda weed is HE smoking:)

  9. That movie fucked with my head because what I believed to be the meaning, nobody else believed.
Then I got to thinking, maybe I am crazy. Maybe I am living in a place like shutter island. lolnojk. But seriously...idk...

Here was my take, which would have been a lot more detailed if you asked me after I had just seen it. I got way into it. Now I don't even remember as much:

I believed he truly was not a patient there.
He was attempted to be brainwashed, and ultimately held captive and lobotomized in the end.
I think what sealed my belief that he was telling the truth was that before he went up to the tower, he said at the end, "Would it be better to live as a monster or to die a good man?"

and there were just other little clues
like the girl hiding out in the mountains...was she real?
    etc

  10. i really feel like it was all an experiment, like he was sent there and then drugged to see the effect on a regular authority figure, i dont know...totally trippy.
your explanation is on point too !
Very intriguing point of view :)

the island they filmed the movie on is right by my house such a cool island to get drunk and run around on! all the run down buildings and to imagine it 50 years ago fully functioning is crazy.

  12. SICK! thats so trippy! i feel like id trip HELLLAA bad if i went there. ahahaha
    goood shit though

where is it filmed? looks like the east coast, like Maine area

  13. Dude he got on the island by the boat with the doctor aka his sidekick. they set it up so he could try and solve his wifes murder so he can realize that hes the one who killed her. hes been in denial for the past two years. they keep the doctor with him at all times so he can monitor him yedig?

  14. im not sure how much of it was filmed on that island but that is in mass. i dont really remember the movie im pretty sure i fell asleep 10 minutes into it. i do remember seeing a little bit of the island but they made the field look 100x bigger than it really is but you could tell that it was the actual field.

lol talk about tripping, ive had my fair share of being all sorts of funked up out there!

  15. i believe he got on the island as a free man and became an experiment
i think the movie was designed to be taken either way
but more people seem to agree that he was really crazy
    i just can't accept that

especially not after watching too much AHS
