My buddy and i plan to do shrooms for the first time sometime in the next little bit, and i have heard a lot of good, and a lot of bad things about shrooms. Im a weed smoker, and nothing more, i dont drink much, i dont smoke. Im new to everything but weed really, and was just wondering if there are some things i should know about shrooms before i do them? And what to do while on shrooms, i heard walking around town is fun, so we will probably do that. I have heard that you can die, and get very sick from doing shrooms, what are the chances of either of these happening?
if your new to shrooms dont go picking ur own shit... if u have a reliable source get like 2.5g for each of you and youll have a great time

when me and my friends do some we usually either chill and watch a cool movie OR if you have does cool posters that light up we turn off the lights and bump music...AVOID PINK FLOYD that shit WILL scare the shit outta u bro *EDIT* or at least it makes me pee in my pants lol
this thread belongs in "pandora's box." as far as shrooms themselves, i suggest you get to know the seller. after you eat them, just do watch a movie or something. or get a piece of paper, and just draw... and make sure there is a "babysitter", jus tin case. good luck!
To Pandoras box this goes! Also, you shouldn't go to a movie. It would be very loud and thats just a bad idea. You should go hiking and connect with nature. Or just chill with your friend and bond, listen to some music.

Going to the movies would be awesome. You never know how your gona react on shrooms though or what your gona wana do. Each trip is different.
your not supposed to take shrooms to get "fucked up".... thats just my opinion though. why post a thread on grasscity, check out shroomery.org and read trip reports, and erowid.org will tell you alot of shit also.

If your doin shrooms for the first time i recomend not being around a lot of people just you and a good friend or 2. Your libal to freak out and thats no good with a ton of people around u wondering wat the hell ur on!
prepare to feel very uncomfortable, very confused, and if your lucky you will be given the illusion that you "learned something" waste of fuckin time in my opinion it took me 6 times doing mushrooms to realize they are a waste of time and money
I've tried them a few times. Never pick your own. Doing things in public sucks, I remember going to the fair after eating an 1/8 and it sucked. With all the people walking and talking it was like information overload and I had my mouth stuck open in a non stop yawn and felt so tired and sick to my stomach. The first time I ate them I did it before work and that really sucked. I worked for an answering service and don't know why I wasn't ever fired. They must have been desperate for someone to work 3rd shift. I had to answer emergency calls and I remember staring at my spit bottle and watching it swirl even though it was just sitting there. The only time I ever really liked eating shrooms was at our apartment with roommates, we had xmas lights and listened to music. We drew on a big poster board. The poster boards were awsome because we'd draw pictures and write sayings that came to mind and the next day we could get all stoned and laugh about all the crazy shit we drew and wrote while trippin.
^ That's you man. To most mushrooms are certainly not a "waste of time." Rather time well spent. I know I feel great on them not uncomfortable and confused. If you don't like them that's fine but don't give a bad name to one of the worlds most amazing drugs. OP go into it with a open mind and prepare to have a good time.
