so we've had plenty of topics on mary jane recipies (or so i gathered) but i thought seen as there are quite a few shroom fans, we could have a topic on shrooms recipies. Unfortunately i don't have any recipies but i'm sure you hep cats do

Well my girlfriend and I got a smoothie machine this for christmas and we decided to trip the other day. I really dislike the taste of mushrooms so we were looking for a way to disquise the taste. Well we figured to put it into a smoothie. There are many different types of smoothies to make but here is my favorite.

Berry Blast Shroom Smoothie

1 cup apple juice
1 1/2 cup lemonade
1 cup frozen raspberries
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup raspberry sherbert
2 doses Shrooms

Put all of your liquid ingredients into the smoothie maker or blender. Next add all of the frozen ingredients. Blend at pulse for about 40 seconds; then blend at medium power until the smoothie looks smooth. It also helps to stir in a counter clockwise method. This makes enough for 2-3 16 oz glasses. Finally after it is made put in your preffered dose of powdered shrooms and your done.

What I like to do is make all of the glasses of smoothies first. Then pour a glass back into the blender or smoothie maker and then put the shrooms in and mix it up. This lets you take control of your dose a little bit better.

Enjoy this great recipe because it is great. You can't taste the shrooms at all and with minimum stomach discomfort. I had no stomach problems and my girlfriend had very little.

grind dry mushrooms to a powder with an electric coffee grinder

bring half a cup of water per dose to boil

remove from heat

stir in the powder (optionally add some fruit tea for better taste)

stir occasionally for 5 minutes

strain the tea

add half a cup of cold water or ice cubes to bring the temperature down

enjoy!

Most powerfull experience I've had yet, and that was only 2 grams dry! (And kept in the freezer for 2 months, if that has anything to do with it...)

Materials needed:

Some form of meltable chocolate. Chocolate bars, Chips, basically anything that will re-solidify.

Preferred Chocolate/Candy Mold. You can get these at Wal-Mart's craft section or where ever you can find them.

Pop Sticks. These are the sticks for the pops

Double Boiler or Getto rig or Microwave (preferred in that order)

Shrooms

About 10 Minutes

Ok you've got all of your materials.

1) Do a test run with your chocolates if your not sure how to make molds (meaning without the mushrooms.) This way you are familiar with the process when it really counts. This way you'll also know how much chocolate, makes how many molds, so that when you mix the desired weight of shrooms into the chocolate, you'll know how much magic will be in each chocolate.

2) Read the directions on the molds for making them but its pretty simple and this recipe can be used to make other types of molds rather than chocolate ones (other shroom candies like sugar based lolly pops.)

3) Heat water in the double boiler so that its hot but not boiling. Put solid chocolate in the dry upper container and allow it to slowly melt. Grind up the shrooms into a powder (coffee mill or pulverize any way you can) and mix well in the chocolate to distribute.
----You may also use a microwave to melt the chocolates

4) Spoon or funnel out chocolate shrooms into molds and twirl the sticks in. Put it in the fridge to cool off and in about 15-20 minutes they are hard and ready to eat.

You can store them in the fridge, wrap them in tin foil. They will last for quite a while, but you will be tempted to eat them quickly.

Here are some mold examples found on the net, less expensive ones can be found online, or an ice cube tray can be subsituted.

Here is a recipe that takes advantage of the nutlike texture and taste of fresh sclerotia. I recommend weighing the amount of sclerotia used in the recipe for dosage estimation per bar.

Makes 4 dozen
Prep Time: 20 Minutes Ready in: 16 Hours 40 Minutes

Ingredients
1 cup corn syrup
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups quick-cooking oats
1 3/4 cups coarsely chopped fresh sclerotia

Directions
1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the corn syrup, peanut butter and chocolate chips. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Continue to boil for 5 minutes.

2. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla, oats and sclerotia. Turn onto a well greased 10x15 inch jellyroll pan or any cookie sheet with 1 inch sides. When cool enough to touch, grease your hands and pat the mixture down flat in the pan.

3. Refrigerate overnight. Let stand for 20 minutes before cutting into squares.

Mushroom Jello
An excellent recipe! Now there can be something psychedelic about Jello besides the colors.

On a stove, heat 2 cups of water until it's almost boiling. Remove it from the heat, and steep your mushroom in the water for several minutes, stirring occasionally. Strain out the mushrooms. Then mix the contents of 1 packet of your favorite flavor Jello with the water and refrigerate until it hardens. If you want an even more potent (albeit less tasty) treat, try stirring in chopped up mushrooms when the Jello starts to thicken (usually around 1 1/2 hours after being put in the refrigerator).
