it is, but not for all psylocebing mushrooms. and some look-alikes turn blue. usually you can identify a cubensi (cow shit shroom) just by looking at it, but its best to get spore prints also. mycotopia.net
you can tell if its a pylocibin mushroom by breaking open the cap if white goo comes out take it if not throw it away. also you should make spore print while drying them out you do this by putting them upside down on tin foil or glass
