Truth is I was building mine for my new house today. Was hoping people would post some pictures yesterday so I could get all pumped up and maybe get some ideas What I got here is a small 4x3 and 8 foot tall veg room. ( will use a tarp with Velcro down for veg room. And installed a door on my bloom room and it is 4x5 and 8 foot tall. I used drywall cause it was twice as cheap and easy to cut. Will use foam to clot any light leakage! This is what I got going on and a lot of work left to go! Now post your rooms so I can see what you got going on Thanks guys!
Looks like you have a plan. I use this, im not happy about posting pics (paraniod as fuck) so i will show you what i use. Dark Room DR240W II Grow Tents - Green's Horticulture With two of these. PowerPlant Lumatek Adjust-A-Wing Lighting System Then i have a 200mm intake fan and a 250mm exhaust with filter.
Looks like a pretty nice setup, when I started the post I didn't even think about people not wanting to post pictures. I don't really care cause all I grow is tomatoes, peppers and other veg.
Thanks. The light in the picture is a Hydrofarm T5 florescent but for flowering I think im going to get a 600 hps. Still debating if I wanna scratch the drip hydro that is also in the picture and maybe go with a bubbleponic and just have 2 12" pots. What do you think?
Your thinking of just turning it into a two plant setup? 5 gallon bucket sized pots? And using bubbles (air stones) at the bottom?
Might be a good idea if that's what you want to do. You could get a HPS for that tent and move that light to a veg station table area to prep your new seedlings and veg then for the tent. But all in all your setup looks great congrats have you grown indoors before?
That's cool, how's LED lighting treating you. I hear a lot of positive things about LED. Just haven't had the balls to switch from my 1000 HPS system
Okay lets see if I can get all of this right. Starting out with two plants just ready for harvest. First is one TH seeds sage and sour plant that's just marvelous. Then one Nirvana AK48 right before harvest. Then on to the next round coming in which is Northern lights X Big bud. All grown on a recirculating dwc with H&G nutes with RO water and NO CALMAG or added co2. I use 5 gal rectangle steralite tubs and the roots completely fill in the container. I do use the H&G additives and add a very small amount of h2o2. With out the h2o2 the algen extract seems to build slime, that is where the slight discoloration comes from is the algen extract which is thick black tar like but it contains mad hormones. I add that around the start of week 2 flower or after they have made the full transition but the roots are completely white until that stuff gets added.
Couple more of the Sage & Sour.. Almost fried some VK there next to the S&S as you can see from the dramatic leaf curl but she is on a flush and to be re dialed in. This is a very difficult strain for me and the curl was from one day of over feeding aka rising ppm I think she was only at 580ppm. I don't think she is a fan of nitrogen...I 'll get her back though.
