    I mean your keif box, of course...

    This was inspired by another thread I started here. A couple members asked about my keif box so I figured I'd start a thread. I did a search and there aren't very many threads dedicated to these sweet little devices - so maybe this could be the "Show off your keifbox" thread.

    Mine's really nothing special, there's no brand name or anything... it's just something I picked up @ my local headshop. It's just a regular ol' box with silk screen in it, and a sheet of black glass on the bottom for collecting the keif. The black glass makes it really easy to see all the keif. I don't rub the bud in the screen like some folks do - I just cut up the weed over the box, and spend a few minutes shaking it around while I watch TV. I usually get lots of keif like that... Here it is...

    i remember asking someone, and i think it was yours because of the black glass

    but thats definetly sick, does it keep the bud pretty fresh?

    What up rez! That was you... no prob bro, glad to post 'em up. I wanna see some other folks' set-ups. Mine's small... I have a friend with a HUGE keifbox, he could easily sift an oz. at a time. Gets tons of keif...

    naughtyneighbor - nah, I don't store bud in it... it'd probably go dry pretty quick... just cut, sift, smoke... the keif stays nice & sticky though...

    ive seen the nice wicca ones that come with grinder and all, but there like 200 bucks
    im thinking a little 4" by 4" box, ive seen them aournd online

    What up Johnny! Re; the box, It's actually not as big as it looks... maybe 6" x 4" or so. Funny though, I was starting to think I was the only guy on earth who didn't have a keifbox / grinder, 'til I got one.


    debauch - cool link for those who wanna save a little dough and have a nice, simple yet useful DIY project... For me, since I'm actually a carpenter by trade, I would have paid almost anything not to have been forced to make mine myself. :D


    jollyjon - I've seen great deals online, although I can't remember where. I paid about $40 for mine locally, I've seen them (much bigger ones too, btw) online for around $20. Personally, I can't see paying $200 for a collector/grinder. A $6 pair of scissors, a cheap sifting box, and a $0.35 razorblade works just as well.
