I put a few seeds out on the 9th and they still havn't come up out of the ground yet. I know I should have started them in the house or something, but I wanted to start it in the ground. It got pretty chilly the other night, could this have affected it?
it sure would have affected them.......... make sure they stay 75f-85f use a thermometer to check and monitor the temps.... I think the paper towel method is easier if you want ur seeds to sprout almost everytime, it's more controlled..... all the best
Well I planted mine in potting soil INSIDE on the 6th and two of them just sprouted today 6 DAYS LATER so I would suspect that it will just take longer outside. It would help if you told us your location and what the temperatures are like there. Just keep that soil well watered (not flooded though.) Seeds need lots of water to soak through the shell and bring it to life. Be patient man and good luck
