Should I Upgrade My Lights?

  1. Hey guys!

I'm currently growing one plant in a smallish 25" x 40" grow box I've build. I'm using and LED light right now and my plants been in there for a couple days now and hasn't grown much.. My LED light is http://www.topledgrowlight.com/catalog/product/vie... and the light I'm looking to upgrade to is http://www.amazon.ca/Apollo-Horticulture-GLK400GW1... . Which do you think will give greater yield and I also am starting to think of having a mother plant so if I buy the new light I could just use the old LED as a mother plant light.

What are you thoughts, the LED is 144watts and the other lights are 400watts. Is it a nobrainer to upgrade?

  2. Well it seems to me you have answered your own question. Upgrading is a term to expand on endless possibilities. One day you might feel your tent or space is too small, and decide you need larger tent. You will definitely need more lights. More lights more heat, more heat more electricity, more electricity more rice in my bowl. You see where I'm going with this? Jk not being a donkey's under tail, but yea you will always want to upgrade..

  3. More light more yield , more roots more fruits

  4. from my opinion . 144 watt is totally fit for your currently grow box . but if you insist on . it still ok. but you will cost a lot by replace it .

  5. I'd go the 400 watt route if you can manage the temps in that space.
