I ordered some fox farm nutes off ebay and thought i was ordering an entire bottle, but by mistake ordered 16oz bottles the seller had split up himself. I have used the nutrients before but only in the containers it came in.,so when i got these it all looked normal but after setting them on the desk for an hour the big bloom separated and the top 30% or so looks like clear oil. also the tiger bloom separated and the bottom 10% of it or so is brown like the big bloom. Like i said i have only used them in the white containers they came in and always shaking them up, but still i cant ever remember seeing it separate that badly and so fast. So i cant decide if i should trust these nutes,anyone seen separation like this ? as of now im thinking of trying to get a refund and if i cant, just not using them until summer and trying them on some outdoor flowers to see if it is safe. The seller also had 1 bad feedback out of 2000 and it said it killed his plants. I ignored it at first because i thought i was looking at a different listing with the full containers. which is how i bought mine by mistake. so after realizing my mistake that feedback makes me paranoid. but its 1 out of 2000 people so i dont know how worried i should be.

I had mine come in smaller bottles from a reputable seller, they worked great
I have a bottle of cal mag plus that sepperates I have to shake it every time I use it. Also my pura vida sepperates to some degree. All the chunks float to the bottom while the brown liquid stays up top. I'm sure it's normal we just never see the nutes out of their light proof bottles
Check and see what they use for a base. Maybe they use and oily type shit for a base and you can figure it out from there. Also you could call then and ask

Like i said i shake mine all the time,and i know why to shake them it aint my first rodeo. but i cant ever remember opening it and seeing all clear liquid which is what i would see at the top. It seems like once i would have opened it without shaking it first but i cant remember. Numbnutts is probably right though i never see them out of their light proof bottles. so what im gonna do since i will need more anyway is order more of the full containers like i wanted in the first place. Then im gonna stick them in a clear container and shake them both up and see how they compare when they break back down. It just makes it tough when you make a mistake and get containers of who knows what. He really could put anything in there. even if its just watered down. anyway i appreciate the help at least for a piece of mind.
Can you just add a specific amount to ro water and check the ppm with a tds meter, then ask someone here to do the same with theirs. Then you have something to compare it to?
