Should I trim this?

  1. One of the lowest of my fan leaves is blocking some of my little new developing leaves from getting light; The fan leaf has a dead part on it and is kind of yellow in contrast to the rest of the plant. Im debating between just trimming it off or should I just tie it back and let it die off on its own? I dont really know how or what I would tie with though so I think trimming would be easiest. Any opinions?

  2. Trim it... a single fan leaf wont hurt anything other than blocking light as it is doing.

  3. Alright thats what I will probably do today when I get off of work;

  4. Only remove a leaf when it is 50% damaged or drastically discolored. Besides those two reasons the fan leaf will do more into producing energy for bud production. In my experiences my plants have done dramatically better when pruning is only done to dead leaves. Id rather tie them away.

    But yeah, I'd remove it.
