Some of these leaves are getting real long and lengthy, i was thinking if I cut some, the plant would focus more on growing then getting food to those big leaves. I’m only 3 weeks and 1 day in. Let me know what you think. All 4 pictures are different Autoflower plants, the last one is getting Bushy but just seems to be growing really really really slow. No height to it. Also some of these fan leaves have more leaves coming out of the nodes. Not sure what to do. Feel like everything is small for 3 weeks tho. Soil of ffof and light is 245watt mars hydro reflector.
Nah bro, let that baby grow, i understand the temptation to want to get in there and trim her up but you must contain yourself and just let it ride for a while, trimming emensly slows down growth anyways
Okay got it. You think for 3 weeks there a little small for autos or no? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Ive never grown auto before but i do believe mine were very similar in size at 3 weeks in so just keep doin what your doin man, looks super healthy and compact
That’s music to my ears. Thanks man. Good to hear they look good. My first grow so I’ve been worrying 24/7 haha. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
As chef says, far too small to molest. Don't lose sight of the fact that these fan leaves are responsible for converting light into energy for growth. My only motivation for defoliation is to unblock some bud sites or if they're part of the undergrowth that gets little light. Autos can be painfully slow at this point. In the future, may I suggest taking pix with lights off. It won't hurt to flip the lights off long enough for pix and it's much easier for translation. In these photos, the leaves look abnormally dark which is an indication of nitrogen toxicity but it may just be a false indication cast by the lights.
Let it grow some more you might want to clean her up about a week b-4 you flip the switch but for now you want her to get as big as possible. Hope this helps!!
They don’t look like tht in real light. There a nice semi bright color of green Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
