Should I remove leaves?

Discussion in 'Plant Training' started by Telebubbies, May 7, 2019.

  1. Hi. Should I remove some fan leaves from my plant? It is nearly a month from seed and very bushy. I was to make it stretch a bit since the leaves are very crowded. Any advice on what to do here would be very helpful!

  2. I personally never trim. It literally cost me time and money to grow those leaves, which have store precious nutes and water in them as well as acting like giant solar panels for the plant.

Once buds start forming, I simply tuck leaves back.

In the last 2 weeks of my grow, only water. The plant will then use up what it stored.

  3. She hasn’t started stretching yet. At least wait until that happens.
She won’t look as bushy then.

  4. Chalk this up to:
‘That time you thought your plants were too bushy’

  5. I'd only defoliate if you're in flower, then its up to be debated

  6. I agree....i wouldnt prune yet.....but I would start tucking the SH*T out of them!!
