OK, got my second UPM tonight (plus a failure to keep right ticket, which is what he got me for), the cop told me that it's still only going to be a violation (NY state) and even though its my second one, it won't go on my criminal record, cause its only a violation, right? Anyway. The cop also gave me a number of an investigator, and said that I could probably call him, and do a couple "bys" he said, and probably get out of the UPM charge. Basically, I'd try and go buy weed from someone with an undercover cop in the car with me. I was thinking, it'd be nice revenge to get back at the guy in this thread: http://forum.grasscity.com/real-life-stories/169537-first-time-gettin-ripped-off.html and to also get out of the ticket. I'm scared though, because I went down a time after that to meet someone who I thought was my friend, but shit went down and I ended up getting robbed of about 70 dollars. I think he got my wallet (I've been missing it ever since the incident), and would then know where I live (well, my parents anyway...cause I don't live with them, but its what it says on my license). Anyway, the kids are only like 16 years old, but they seem pretty thugish, and I would be concerned about them figuring out it was me that fingered them (especially since I haven't answered any of his phone calls since asking if I want bud) and showing up at my home and fucking shit up. Maybe I'm scared to do it, but I wouldn't want to do this to any of my other dealers. But I REALLY can't afford another ticket...and since, like an idiot, I simply plead guilty to my first UPM charge a couple months ago, if I get convicted of a second one, I don't know what kind of repercussions it is going to truly have on me, even if it is not criminal. I still need financial aid for school.
Man, dont do it. I guarantee the stress and ridicule associated with being a snitch will be much more costly than a ticket. Plus, its just not cool to snitch. Like someone said in a different thread "If your doing crimes, dont drop dimes". When you break the law you have to take the consequences when you get caught. Pawning it off on other people is irresponsible and lame in general.
Ratting someone out is worse than what that kid did to you. So the answer to your question is NO. He will get what's coming to him in time. A little advice, never buy weed from a kid on a bike.
Like you said, in NY it's not even a criminal violation. Just pay the ticket and forget about it, if you want to get that kid back do it some other way.
Look mayne, you need to man-up and take full responcibility for what you did. Taking another down, is fucked up. Whether they fucked you over or not. if they fucked you over, handle it man to man, don't involve the authority's. Hey man, When I got arrested for possession under 50grams and paraphanelia, I was offered the same thing... For a misdemeanor offense bro, It isn't wort it in the slightest bit. Making buys is ridiculous. For such a minor offense, they're like trying to turn you into Dog the bounty hunter... And plus, no matter what they say, the kid will KNOW who it is. You fucked up, pay the tickets and shit, and move on. ( Not trying to be dick). It'll be a lesson learned, and won't put yourself, family, or friends in jeopardy. Hope it helps man. By that logic, thinking about killing someone is just as bad as actually killing someone. Somehow...that just doesn't make sense. What are you trying to say, really? That I'm a snitch? Because thinking about snitching, and actually snitching are two different things. All I was doing was trying to weigh my options, I had JUST gotten back from my encounter when I started this thread, and I was trying to decide on the best course of action, because honestly, a cop has never offered something like this to me before. Also, realize, that it's not like I wanted to do this to anyone that I am friends with. This kid is a scumbag, and it was only that that led me to even consider doing this.
