You always PH no matter. Even if you used the water you premade the day before, still PH check because they will slowly raise. PH. Wrong PH will lock out certain nutrients, you can google the chart, make sure you get the right chart for your media you use to grow. Runoff is alway recommend because you want the left over or used up nutes to wash away and not built up salt over time. Check ph for runoff isn't as important depending on which media you use to grow with. But it should be done if you see any problem with the plant. If the plant are green and healthy don't bother because you will think there is a problem when there isn't none. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
