Should I have a fan on at all times cooling? or Do I even need to?

  1. I have a set-up in my closet and I'm growing three plants. I have 150 watts on them and will probably add more. (should I?) Do they ever get overheated or should I not even worry about a fan or any kind of cooling?

  2. Aside from circulating air a fan is good to apply a gentle breeze to your plants which will make them stronger.

I kept an oscillating fan on mine 24/7 through veggitative growth.

Now that I am on 12/12 I turn it off at night or point it above the canopy.

  3. Thank You so much. I was thinking that but wasn't really sure if i should point it away or not. Now would the Sprouting stage be part of the veg. stage?

    Negative.

Don't put a fan on them until they develop a solid root system. Usually about two weeks after they make their first appearance above ground.

You can always have a fan circulating air... just don't let it hit them when they're too young.

  5. Great advice from Noober.

  6. Ok thanx ALOT!!

+REP...Thought it had to be on all the time. That's what I was def. confused about. THANX again:)

  7. Is there a certain temp. I should have on the planted seeds while on they're way to veg. state?

  8. 65-75 degrees is optimal.
