Total noob grower here I've learned a whole lot so far but I'm still a bit unsure if my medical plants are ready to pull the hairs are brown as far as I can tell I have some pics too.
Ok cool I was pretty much thinking the same thing but I wanted to be sure so what do you guys think a week 2 weeks?
Scope the trichs, even if ya don't know what you are looking for it's very neat/educational and believe it or not it'll become very clear how to tell if your seasons work is ready =) I use a little 20$ microscope kit from the toy section of walmart lol, can check 150,450 and 900X. Very worth the 20/30$ spent to be able to harvest when you want to in the ripeness world.
If you don't want to spend the money on a nice scope, the jewelers loop I got from amazon was like $4 and works fine for this The Dank Knight
Needs another 2 weeks at the very least. A scope is helpful, but not absolutely necessary. Most plants are going to finish well into October unless it is a heavy indica-dominant strain, which this doesn't seem to be. Once the resin starts to turn an amberish color, you'll be getting close. You can usually see this with the naked eye.
awesome thanks and thanks to everybody else who suggested the scope ill definitly keep a close eye throughout october to look for the change in the trichs i was under the impression from other local medical outdoor growers around here that really the end of october is when most of them are finished but its great that i know exactly what to look for now

Is that shadow on the plants your shadow? If they are in the shade, that could stunt growth. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
it was my shadow yes in the first pic there was a bit of shade but i took these pictures early in the morning and they mostly get midday and afternoon full sun not morning so they still get plenty to grow and mature
