short veg cycle over long veg cycle-potency

  1. if you're forced to flower early due to limited space
does the short veg. cycle have a harsh effect on the outcome of the potency that the buds will have?
is the veg. cycle where the plant decides how potent it will be?
i could care less about yield but care more about potency.

  2. I could be wrong, but I'm fairly certain the only thing veg cycle determines is the size of your plant.

  3. so does that mean a lot of the potency element comes within the flowering cycle? and the yield element is determined through veg. cycle?

  4. Basically. Strain and growing conditions are also a very big factor in potency. Strain and growing conditions are also a big factor in yield as well.

For example: you could let your plant veg a really long time, but if you don't feed it properly in flowering your yield will still be lower than it could have been.

  5. ohhh okay thanks alot man!
