I thought I was going to have the summer to myself, so I started a few little sprouts.. they germinated two days ago and one of them is over three inches now! The other two are not growing as fast- they actually just started poking out of the dirt today. I just found out that some family will be coming to my house (about 4 of them) and spending about 2 weeks with me. I have my own house and live alone, but am going to have to give my rooms up and I'll be forced into to the den. They'll be here in about 8 weeks give or take a couple of days. I can't have anything growing by then as I know my family and they take over closets! Am I basically screwed or can I still manage to get a little something if one of the three turns out to be a female and I try to flower early? Any suggestions??
Well, that certainly reduces your yield possibilities. If i were you id just do it, start with 12/12 either right away, or after a very short veg time, and see what you come up with. At the very least itl give you more experience
It's warm enough, but I'm a bit leery of putting them outdoors. I think I'm going start them on a 12 on/12 off and see how that works. I'm really surprised how fast one of them is growing right now- you might say it's growing like a weed!!!!
I only started with three and one of them is growing fast the other two are taking their time. I have them by a window so I was more concerned with them bending for the light rather than stretching. But that doesn't seem to be a problem. So I think that one is just growing fast. I have a room that faces a greenbelt (no neighbors that way) with a huge window, so I was going to use natural light and let them take their course through the summer. Now with having to do a 12/12- not sure if I'll invest in heavy curtains or a lighting system (or just scrap the idea for now).
