Shopping for a TDS ,EC , PH meter.

  1. look into the aquaria trade, aquarium maintenance requires keeping track of acidity
     
  2. Most of the hydroponics stores carry cheapo drop em in water no warranty made in China meters for $20us a pop. They work great for the price.

    I fill a shot glass and meter the liquid in there so I don't Butterfinger it into the rez.

  3. Here's what they look like.

    For what its worth I asked the store guy when picking up the ppm / TDs meter if he had anything to measure ec. His comment to me was measuring by ec is harder to get pin point readings as the amount required to shift the value may be more than what you need. His thoughts were that ppm measuring was the way to go.

    OK I think I can get both for $20-$30. been working on the hydro for just barely over a month and all is good, just need more basic supplies.
