The suspected shooter was confirmed shot in Parliament by RCMP. There may be another shooter on the loose in Ottawa though.
I've got a few friends in Ottawa. Hopefully this is an isolated incident and not part of something larger... Read the comments on a few articles about it and people are blaming ISIS, so unlikely -.- Although if someone assassinated Harper, that could be a positive thing.
That's what I'm worried about, because this does seem like something that could be the precursor for something bigger... I think one of the main reasons why people are blaming ISIS so blindly though is because of the recent turn of events in Quebec where a Canadian radical muslim had ran over two Canadian soldiers, having killed one of the two. UPDATE: It is being reported that there are three different shooting incidents that have happened so far in Ottawa. Members of Parliament who are currently in lockdown in Parliament buildings are being told not to report to any news affiliates where they are currently located.
