For the past few days I've been keeping my bud in a mason jar and storing it in cool places. I may have made a huge mistake and if so, I hope there is something i can do. It has been cool and windy where I live for the past few days so I have been keeping my jar of trainwreck outside of my window between the screen and the outside of the window at night so that is exposed to cool air. WELL! Today I woke up late and when I went to go get my jar (which I had forgotten about until maybe an hour after I had woken up) I realized the sun was really intense. I grabbed the jar of weed and it was really hot and must have been exposed to intense sunlight for a few hours. I have the jar cooling off in front of a fan now hoping no damage was done. Do you think I may have ruined my weed? If so how can I cure it? Thanks!
Sunlight isn't going to damage weed. As long as it isn't moldy, it's still good. The "cold, dry area" recommendation for storage relates to preventing mold growth, not light/heat sensitivity.
