Shipping Pipes to N.Dakota - Illegal?

    I have a friend who wants me to send some pipes to him from my shop. I took some pics of the pipes, he picked the ones he wanted blah blah. I was telling my sister that I was sending some pipes and she told me to look up laws to make sure it wasn't illegal, (that's what Chong went to prison for). I tried googling to find some laws, but I can't find anything. I looked on a few pipe shops and they said they wouldn't send to N. Dakota, S.Dakota, or Pennsylvania. So does anybody know if its safe or not? At this point i'm sketched out and don't want to do it, unless I know for sure it's legal.

    i do not knwo 100% but make sure there clean... a pipe issent elligal till u do somthing elligal with it

    The pipes are brand new straight from the headshop.(im the guy gettin the bowls)

    As long as there is no resin in it, youre good to go.

    yeah, as long as there is no trace of resin or any marijuana then you are safe.

    Just thought I'd reinforce what others are saying, it's perfectly legal aslong as there is no trace of illegal substances in it.

    After all, you'll be smoking tobacco through it right?......

    Pennsylvania is a definite no but North Dakota seems ok. I base this on a dummy order from the Shop that I just tried out. However, no offense, but if you don't have a good knowledge of the laws surrounding this then it might be best to not have your hands in it.

    I figured itd be okay, but I was lookin around at shops and shit, and noticed they didnt send to some states. So we jsut wnated to make sure.

    Like everyone else said, should be cool as long as their is no resin or anything of any kind. My local headshop gives free samples of tobacco with every purchase so that if you get pulled over or something, there is no question as to what the new pipe was sold for...tobacco use.

    Don't worry it is totally fine. I know a ton of people who have had stuff shipped to ND. One person use to get bulk orders and sell them because they aren't really any fullblown headshops here.
