I use rosin it's much cleaner of a smoke without chemicals to make it. What I do is make up some rosin and place some on top of the bud in my bong or heat up my rig and off I go however I notice if you put it on your bud they high is much better. I assume rosin and wax highs are similar so maybe try a little bit on your bud and let us know like a mouse turd size should do if it's your first time.

Shatter is a type of cannabis concentrate. Dabs, wax, oil, concentrate are pretty much all the same thing. You 'dab' it onto a nail or you can vape it out of a pen/cart. The names primarily just refer to the consistency, which ranges from terp-y to shatter-y When you say shatter that means it's wax that 'shatters' like glass when you break it.

I primarily dab. I prefer the flavor, and the intensity as well as control over the duration of my high. It's also a 'healthier' alternative to smoking, and you don't inhale anything that you're not using to get high like flower gives you. With that said, I'll never stop smoking flower. Love the balance.

If you've never dabbed, then you'll be really surprised at how intense it is compared to flower. Flower is like the slow climb up a rollercoaster, dabs are like the ones that just launch you from 0-100mph in no time.

Also, not all rosin/wax is equal. It varies a bunch.

 

I use both, shatter(dab) for discrete intense sesh. Bud (flower) throughout the day.
It balances out nicely at the end of the day for me

To each their own my friend, I don't think I can understand this one though can't imagine a good glob of that on a nice enail wouldn't fry you through and through!
