Sharp Pain Under Bellybutton... HELP!

Discussion in 'Fitness, Health & Nutrition' started by SammySess, Oct 18, 2012.

  1. Omfg blades,

So this happens to me every few months. If i stand up from a sitting position fast i get this sharp straining pulling pain like underneath my bellybutton on the right side, feels like its infront of my bladder.

When i try to pee it HURTS!!! Like an increasing pain. Well I was jjust having a dream and i felt that exact sharp pain in my dream and woke up and realised it was real :( Im guessing i must have stretched out in my sleep to cause it?

I had to pee so bad so i went and it hurt so much. I cant walk straight i need to hunch over because if i stand up straight it hurts. Im pretty sure its a strained muscle? It feels like a sharp stabbing pain though.

Anyone ever have this or am i going to have to see a doc?

I think its most likely due to muscles knot produced under the belly button due to some sudden action or something like else. Physical therapy can best advise you that how you can avoid this pain in long run.. Well, I am not an expert but its only my own experience that I got from my cousin's similar problem.

  5. Thanks for the advice guys, i dont think its a kidney stone or appendix problem because i get this like 3 times a year. It must be a muscle issue because when i woke up my bladder was full and i had to piss so bad so im guessing during my sleep i stretched out and caused some muscle damage.

My brother said he gets it too sometimes. But ive never had it this badly. It was to the point where i was dreaming and i felt the pain in my dream :S when i woke up i was like "Wow how did u feel pain like that in ur dream?" then i got up to take a leak and as i got up i was struck with the worst pulling, sharp, slicing pain ever!! Had to walk with a hunch to the toilet.

Well i gtg to work now guys, its starting to feel a little bit better kind of, hopefully it heals enough by the end of the day,

    peace!

  6. If it doesn't get better in a couple days I'd see a doctor, especially if it's recurring.

  7. I get something similar but dont know what it is. Like you I dont get it that often. Maybe one or twice the past 6 months.

But with me it usually happens after a lot of exercise.

Just thought id let you know your not alone.
