I'm sitting here bored, so I figured I'd make a thread to get to know eachother a little better. My two main hobbies are computer modding, and firearms. This case mod is the one I'm still using today, when I first got the case, it was a plain case with nothing special about it, all the modifications were custom done by hand. The green stuff is a water cooling system for people that don't know much about PC's.
Being american isn't all its cracked up to be, we're slowly losing our rights. Ohio just passed a state wide smoking ban, pretty much the only place you can smoke is your house, your car, and 10+ feet away from the entrace to anything that isnt a home. Another assualt weapons ban is also on the horizon which is bullshit. What do you think of when you hear "Assault Weapon"? Big scary guns like mine? While those kind of guns are classified as an assault weapon, in reality an assault weapon is defined by any firearm capable of holding more than ten rounds. In my opinion, an assault weapon ban is total bullshit. Banning these weapons isn't going to make the US a safer place, 95% if crimes are commited with illegal street weapons. How often do you see a normal gun owner go nuts and start popping people? Not enough to warrent a ban. There an old saying that goes "When catapults are outlawed, only outlaws will have catapults".
Come on you lazy stoners, no one wants to take the time to share their hobbies with me? Do you guys just sit around and get high all day? Well, I mean, not that its a bad thing if you do, just what else do you do in your free time?

And was that thing about 95% a real statistic or something you just thought up? Anyway, my main hobby is guitar. I've been playing for a few years now. I'm not really serious about it anymore the way i used to be, but its more of just a fun thing to do now.
Um lets see, I play soccer on the athletic side of my hobbies. I can't work on the hardware aspect of computers for shit, but i have a knack for picking up programming languages. my latest hobby with this is my Linux setups. my hobby/job is online poker...i enjoy that (although not as much as i used to now that i play it so much, the grind gets on my nerves)
yeah, discussing and/or posting pictures of firearms is against the rules...it's just one of SJ's things I believe. Believe me, I'd love to show off my collection

Hey, Well, music has always been "my thing". I love all kinds of instruments, though because I no longer have any real lung capacity anymore (asthma) I can't play any of the "classical" horned instruments. I play a lot of guitar, and listen to a lot of music. I personally would love to be able to sing better. Sadly, it seems puberty robbed me of my "good" singing voice, hehe. Perhaps one day I can get it back. Now, putting music to the side, I really enjoy reading texts having to do with the Origins of Humanity. I find it extremely interesting. I often think and read about things such as our complex universe, the possibility (and probability in my eyes) of extra terrestrials, etc. I also, well... I remember many years ago I used to love fishing. OH, god how I want to start that back up again. Damn... now that I think about it it's been TOO LONG. Considering I'm 21 now, and the last time I went, A Fishing License wasn't required, heh. And they always say, even if you don't catch anything... you can always catch a buzz.
