Aqquried a clone from a mother plant from a friend on january 16th.

    What i am growing In:

    I will be growing in a homemade ( DIY extend-a-closet) that measures up to 6' x 3' x 6'
Covered with White/Black Poly Mylar plastic. (the white strip is a zipper) (pics at end of post)

January 16th, 2010 : Aqquaried Clone, Switched to 600 Watt Metal halide light for Seedlings and clone set as 18 Light and 6 Dark.
January 17th, 2010 : Diluted Prop-O-gator Root growth food and used it in all of the pkants for their watering. (Some dixie cups are almost root bound and need to be transplanted soon)
January 25th, 2010 : Transplanted All of the seedlings into 2 gallon pots, fed prop o gator rot growth and still under 18/6 with 600 MH
Febuary 07th, 2010 : Set up carbon filter, started feeding veg formula 3-2-4 every second feeding, Starting to grow nice and fast.
    Febuary 21st, 2010 : Started to flower at 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM ON and 6:00 AM - 6:00PM OFF

Cutting Clones Tonight off of the identified females, Placing 7 in the clone machine, Than Going to take the best clone, and veg that as a mother, So than i can constantly keep taking good clones off of her.

Anyway i am putting my 600 Watt HPS Hortilux Light in tomorrow right when my babies turn off.

Keep tuned For my cloning tonight :)

Here are my clones, i hope they all turn out!!

  8. Looks great, that many clones you could get away with a single 13w-25w daylight CFL hanging in center. I do 32 clones with 4 13w CFL and they take about 2 weeks for good roots. Great setup and plants look great. Will be watching.

  9. Do you think it is too much for these clones?? it is 125 CFL but should i just get a 20W CFL and hang it in the centre untill roots?

  10. i cant wait to see this harvest, youve got really lush plants

  11. They look great man, nice setup btw.

  12. Thanks guys, i hope they turn out amazing!!
i will keep you all posted every week so stay tuned!

If it were my clones I would. They would do better or just as well with a single one of these (27W Daylight CFL) EcoSmart 27 Watt (100W) Daylight, 2 Pack (E)* - ES5M827250K at The Home Depot
27W Daylight. Like I said I use a total of 52W over 32 clones and it works great. 125W is a lot plus if you use only 25W you are saving 100W of electricity at 18/6 at $.15 KWH thats about $18 a month saving, which is something.

Very minor detail, but I stopped cutting the leaves in half in my aero cloner. I found that cutting the leaves to avoid excess transpiration really isn't necessary. I found that cutting the leaves actually makes the process take longer / not as healthy. For rockwool foliar feeding cloning I would say cut the leaves but for aero cloner. Give it a try without I think you will be happy. I noticed on the pic you have a node right at the neoprene, is there an exposed node in the aero chamber or just stalk? It will work either way but I have had the best luck making a node the bottom (where I want roots to pop out) and slice that up the stalk in half about 1/8 in" this gives you 2 places for roots to develop and it gives better water uptake.

  15. Alright thanks man, im going to switch over to a 20W CFL and hang it in the middlle for now, and when i root them in soil i will switch to the 125 CFL

As for the nodes in the inserts, no it is only a stalk that is poking out the bottom of the insert, no nodes.

This is my very first time cutting clones, so if they dont turn out i can always cut some more.

thanks for the help though i appreciate it

  16. Yeah next time try trimming those bottom 2 branches... So you cut off a piece with 2 nodes. you trim the bottom nodes leaves off and cutoff excess stalk below that. then clip it vertically up the stalk a little bit and I have 100% success rate. In the aero cloner I still have like 90% success rate when done your way, they take a little longer, but I like the the way they turn out. If time isn't an issue your way is great. I would just not cut the leaves in half and slice the stalk vertically at the end (always seems to help)

  17. pullin up a chair for this one. love the strains and they look really happy keep it up :smoking:

  18. Cool thanks man i want to keep these babies the healthiest i can as one of them will be a mother and hopefuly going to be taking over that box,
:hello::hello::hello: at 12 today i am putting in my HPS im stoked !!

  19. OFFICIAL 1ST DAY OF FLOWERINGG :smoking: Started the 12/12 cycle when my babies woke up to the HPS light.

Here is an update on the HPS.

  20. Some changes in plans here ya guys!!
I am aqquaring a clone from a godly mother plant
the strain is "Rene" and it is already rooted in Rockwell.
What I plan on doing is removing my aero cloner, and all of those clones but one out of the box
when I aqquaire the clone I will hopefully srart mothering the Rene clone and a romulan x sweet skunk in a 5 gallon bucket (same size as my cloner) with some major LST and 4 more 25W cfl. When time is close to harvest on my current plants I will cut clones from these two mothers and when rooted in my aero cloner placed in veg for 2 weeks and than flower baby!!

So than I have a solid 6 plant cycle. 3 Rene and 3 romulanx sweet skunk

Annyway long post but hope everything goes as planned
