Did anyone on here go to Shambhala music festival in Salmo at the beginning of the month? my girlfriend and I went for our first time ever and it was a freakin blast! Tons of fun, for sure going next year! Just wanted to see if anyone on GC was there.
We ended up missing alot of what we wanted to see because of some insane molly haha but it was worth it. But saw porter robinson, a bit of teravita, pretty lights, and of course zeds dead!! Then some other dj's I don't know the name of when we were just walking around..
Yeah the Molly was way better this year then last and fucking porter Robinson was dope such a good show if you saw a charle sheen blow up doll on a stick at his show it was my crew haha
I was indeed there, it was my second year! I also intend to be there next year as well! We have a lot more plans and intentions for next year, time to get my crafting on. I have plans to make flags, more cuffs, different outfits to keep things fresh and exciting. I pretty much have to get started on it now or else I will be rushing around doing a lot of last minute sewing. I have a hard time when the crowds get going so I tend to miss out on the evening DJ's, but I still have my own kind of fun.
I for sure need to start getting stuff ready for next year! We went way under prepared this year haha it was still a blast though. Any chance you know how to get an announcement as to when the tickets go on sale so I can get them that day?
I normally watch the sales like a hawk the first 3 days they are on sale.. The first batch of tickets literally sold out within seconds it was put up on the site. Then the second and third batch took a few days (maybe a week?) to sell out online. They normally have announcements before they go on sale stating what days the batches are going to start selling on. That's what I recall, last year was the first time I bought them when they went up for sale online. I hope to do the same this year.
Lol, yah they go quick online. But it never fails to be able to pick one up when it gets really close because people discover they can no longer go, or have an extra ticket that needs to go. So if you don't get any of the online tickets or can't make it to a location when they get sold at stores, keep an eye on the trading post forum on their website. There's bound to be people that wont gouge on the price, you just have to weed through the people who want to rip people off.
I'll for sure keep an eye out, I don't live in canada so I don't think i'll be making it to a store to buy them so i'll just try and be quick when they go on sale
Ya it was insane for sure!! Next year we're going to bring more stuff for a better camp and definitely make sure we see the shows we plan on seeing haha
I lived my entire life pretty much 20 minutes way and have only gone twice, but I will never stop now even though I have recently moved. It truly is a beautiful place *daydreams*
