So I have read a lot about people saying "the peyote ball only diffuses on half the grids etc etc", and that it's fail because of it. The reason he gridded the whole ball was for clearing purposes and reducing drag. It wasn't SG's intention to make them all diffuse, at least that's what he says. When you look at milks side by side of a peyote and a 4 arm diffusing you will see that the Peyote seems to diffuse better. More smaller bubbles. Also on the 4 arm you don't see any of the bubbles coming out of the grids AT all. Long story short I am glad I got my peyote. Peyote 4arm
True. But were canadian its like $1050. No heady in british columbia. Alberta has a collector store but your wallet needs to be holding more then 500. Liquid Chrome has heady but its far away States is the only place and online can be pricey and most online places dont ship to canada.
Dude you gotta find better online shops. I have a RooR, SYN, Wicked Sands, and US Tubes at home, and you can bet none of them were bought from a shitty Canadian headshop.
IMO the hollow-foot peyote was a revolution in bong aesthetics. Not quite a beaker but not quite a straight. The hollow-foot is very bottom-heavy when filled with water which makes it steadier than a straight tube with a base, and almost as tip-resistant as a beaker. Regardless, it is sturdy and breathtaking at the same time.
Where are these online shops? their online dude.PM me for some good ones. Check some of Quomists' (not how his username is spelt but its similar to that)posts in the high end thread, that guy has one of the dopest collections I've ever seen and he lives in Canada. Edit:Wow this thread has gone way off topic sorry OP.
I can agree with that the hollow-foot is def a unique design. I wouldn't call the peyote a fail as some people say, but with that being said I still feel it has room for improvement. I understand the additional grids were for reduced drag which is fine. In my opinion though if some body can pull off using a bottom perc that diffuses down into the water then up the pillars instead of straight out and up then that would be an improvement on the peyote ball. The image i have in my mind is an inverted waffle but its just an idea I dnt even know if its possible but it seems like forcing the smoke down and out would allow for more of an even pressure distribution of smoke thus diffusing through all of the waffle holes. This may add some drag but I feel like the improvement in diffusion may out way the addition drag. Anyway just my thoughts on the subject matter.
True but I dnt see that necessarily bein a huge issue. I guess a curved neck would Prolly be a must for maximum diffusion.. but please enlighten me if you see any other issues that may arise. I only ask cuz I'm seriously considering having something of this liking blown over the summer
