SF 4000 need help

    First time grow I'm getting different info would like some wisdom as to the sf4000 light first there's two light switches one on front side next to dimmer switch and there's one on back which when its on there's not an option of dimming the light.My question is how are those two switches used?I have 8 plants sprouting in a 60 by 60 by 80 tent which I'm thinking I have to many going and started out 20 inches up using just one switch on dimmer at 40% then moved light up 36 inch and ran both switches on which I'm guessing is full power but don't want to burn them up.Thanks for your wisdom and time.

    It will br a challenge to have 8 plants in a 60x60. I guess you are speaking about veg and bloom switches?

    Yes i over did it on plants its my first run just trying to make sure i dont screw it up the one with the dimmer on it im assuming is the side i should be using at first?

    Also is it ok to run 24 hours a day or should it have some hours of dark ness
