hey guys, so before i start i just wanna say this is my first grow, but everything is going great sofar,I am growing a northern lights x haze breed and I believe i have 1 out of 3 a confirmed female with about 8 pistils hello:yay) and i think one is starting to show signs of a male plant, im going to post a pic and if anybody has any info that'd be great ! sorry if the quality is bad was taken with my IPhone 4
Hey no worries, and i agree with you on that one dude, thanks for the input!, the one female i have is doing great i may just clone for the next one and I still have one unknown, and I still have like 2 dozen of these seeds anyway, growing the male was good for experience atleast
Right on, experience is invaluable. Don't forget that although you have a confirmed female plant, you should still look over it very carefully at least every other day for signs of producing male sex organs. I just say this out of habit since the time I was growing autos and my beautiful female produced and opened pollen sacs right under my nose, but autos are more prone to going hermi than plants with strong genetics. In my case, if I could go back, I'd rather confirm redundantly that I'm right then to confirm it once and assume that this principle holds indefinitely, and I started to do this with my other plants after I realized the consequences of what happened. Observing your plants with such detail (I've found) also makes you appreciate them a lot more.
Yea my last seed pic BC God Bud I could only get in regular.However I think I'll go that route from now on.To many times have my fem's hermi'd now. Even though I only got 1 female EHH!!!!!Thats all I need though.Clone away... Admittedly my hermies werent realy bad.I was able to pic them off if I kept diligent,but who wants that pain every rotation....
Actually I have been looking at the pistils quite often just to see how they are doing and how they grow with a magnifying glass thanks for the feedback it's all helpful
