Is there anyway to tell the sex of a plant without flowering them, and if not then is it possible or OK to like flower them until you see the first signs of something then put it back into vegetative growth of just something to make a determination early. I would appreciate any input if possible. Thank you for your time.
males often show before 12/12 is induced. small pollen sacs start to push out and are easily identifiable. yes you can veg, flower, and reveg. you run a slight risk of hermie but if that is your only light change i wouldnt worry about it too much.
Any plant will show given enough time in veg state. And IMHO thats the way to go. It can be a painfull wait but its worth it if you want a mom cause its takes time and stresses a plant to go back to veg state from flower.
